Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Nicola Zalewski and Joaquin Correa in a 3-4-3 attack against Como. This evening’s Serie A final day clash kicks off at 20.45 CET.
Inter Milan face Como in Serie A this evening.
It is the Nerazzurri’s final match of the league campaign – barring the possibility of a head-to-head playoff with Napoli for the title.
Inter know perfectly well that the fate of the Serie A title race is not in their hands.
However, the Nerazzurri are just a point behind Napoli at the top of the league table. Therefore, they will still be hoping that they can capitalize on any slip-ups by Napoli.
Accordingly, three points will be essential for Inter.
Nevertheless, the fact remains that this is not Inter’s only priority.

The Nerazzurri also take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the end of the month.
Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to go with some squad rotation this evening.
Asllani & Calhanoglu Start In Midfield

Firstly, there is the usual Yann Sommer in goal for Inter.
Then, in front of the Swiss there is a back three of Carlos Augusto, Stefan de Vrij, and Yann Bisseck.
Meanwhile, in midfield it is a duo of Kristjan Asllani and Hakan Calhanoglu.
Then, on the flanks, Federico Dimarco and Matteo Darmian start for the Nerazzurri.
Zalewski & Correa Start In Attack As Inzaghi Switches To A 3-4-3
In attack, meanwhile, Inter coach Inzaghi has changed the system to a 3-4-3.
That is similar to the tactic that the coach employed for Inter’s 2-0 win over Torino earlier this month.
Firstly, Mehdi Taremi leads the line yet against.
And then, behind the Iranian, Nicola Zalewski and Joaquin Correa play as attacking midfielders.
Meanwhile, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez is back from injury, but only on the bench. The same is true of midfielder Davide Frattesi.
Still injured, however, are defender Benjamin Pavard and midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
Meanwhile, there are places on the bench for regular starters such as Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, and Marcus Thuram.

calhanoglu miss penalty again napoli in meazza come to bite us. we should have won
if you want to make the league competative it is not by favouring one club over another. serie a is losing appeal across the world – no coppa italia!
good from inter per sempre. i read some comments of some fans, not really proud. listen, it was a clear conspiracy against inter, period!
it is all about Marotta!!!!
Inzaghi
and Naïve fans
in 5 damn years you have 5 scudetto ! 5 years in race! and just 2!
you need victorious mentality!
killing to win!
one upon a time Jose injected it to the that squad!
I don’t mind wether we can or can’t be like Real Madrid!
but see what they were before Perez!
at least we can learn!!!!
marotta was busy playing politics; in the media serie a chief would hail inter(him) as the only club that does nt complain about ref. it was a trap and it has come to hunt inter. you didnt complain about inter vs ac(suppa cup and serie a) ; vs roma; vs bologna and lazio(the napoli agent – mr guida in the var boot) ,now all the silence has cost inter the scudetto. note that the club is not your pedestral for politics.
Well, think about it, at least this team gives us the hope of winning Scudetto for 4-5 years in a row. That is something totally different from last decade. I am still happy.
and what you have?????
what Napoli got in two years!!!!
even if team wins the scudetto, what did you have? lol if im a player on the team or a coach, yes maybe im pissed. But I am a fan, I am just happy for the team showing the competitive in the top level of the euro. So you hold on your opinion.
Please is Oaktree giving us bad luck?
They just got their nudge in the back to invest a little more, instead of this overbelief in our management. They pushed their luck, trying to save a buck while waiting for proof that even the best management in the world will not win everything without the right backing.
Perhaps in a few years, our “loss” today will be considered a “lucky” moment, kicking the right pocket in the ass; flash your cash!
their didnt serie a lost as a lost, in fact, they see this season as a big win for finance book coz thats the sole purpose from investment company. they not glory hunter, coz they hunting for monet
I said before the start of the championship that Napoli have all to win Serie A: Antonio Conte, many od Spalleti champions, no Europe + bonus Romelu Lukaku. I deserve beer from Solointer and others.
When you see what other big clubs are buying. RM Alexander-Arnold and Huijsen, Liverpool Wirtz, Arsenal Zubimendi, MC Reijnders, BM Tah. It is so unfair to be poor. lol
Watching Napoli celebrate like this and thinking they won this because they’re a good team is crazy to me Lool. Next season’s UCL will expose this weak and spineless team. We practically gifted these clowns Serie A smh.
don’t tell them that… let them continue living in fools paradise. when we strengthen next year, will give them the payment they deserve
Soooo true!
they won due to our stupidity!
like Milan that year!
and this is what killing me!
Team is now running more than they did against Lazio. What’s the point of giving Barella, Acerbi, and Dumfries minutes to play and what happens if they get injured?
We have been helped by parma, genoa and even como, but we couldn’t help ourselves. Getting another help from cagliari will never happen as they play away and for nothing. Just blame ourselves for this title miss., we gifted Napoli the title as we did to bilan a few years ago.
Look serie a hurts but theres always next season and i feel were gonna win next season if we get the right people and champions league if we win we can forget all about it and plus ref has been bad to us in serie a
Also conte impact on the serie a trophy is crazy he always wins it
but this time the refs won the league for him
We are in a position similar to Liverpool, and it all comes down to the workload on our lads. It is obvious to everyone that Inter is the best team in Italy and that the load given by FIFA and UEFA are what won Napoli their scudetto.
Competition is a little weird when the lesser win, slightly, over our far more exhausted players.
We have been far more impressive than Napoli this year. The workload we have had makes the scudetto winners look a little weak, in my view.
It’s over
Why Barella and Acerbi? Play Primavera. Why risk stars?
Didnt know we had “rivalry” with Como, they’re fans really hate us.
I hope that doesn’t apply to Kiera Knightley!
Let’s save Dimarco and Calhanoglu’s legs for next week, now!
Totally agree but why is Barella and Dumfries going on? Makes no sense really. They need rest too. This game is of no matter with Napoli up 2 nil
ggs boys. next year if inter management doesn’t invest for deeper squad then focus on one competition only.
forza inter per sempre
We lost the Scudetto bc of players being lazy and Inzaghi’s system becoming predictable. We did not lose 4 points vs Parma and Monza bc of not having a better bench.
lazy? have you tried playing your lungs out every 3 days against opposition that were fresher than you? no? then don’t call em’ lazy. When players slipping right left center for no reason at all, it’s an evidence of fatigue. sure We did bottled the league with 2-2 draw with lazio and loses against bologna and roma. but 1. those were the peak of our squad’s fatigue, can’t blame simone on these. faris threw away 2-0 lead against parma also, and roma and lazio were absolutely helped by the referee, if only decisions like this, after being reviewed and deemed an error warranted a replay…
First weak, we conceded a goal vs Genoa in the 95th min. Fourth weak, we failed to beat Monza. Fifth weak, we lost vs mid-table Milan. Ninth weak, we conceded 4 goals vs Motta’s Juventus. It was obvious since the beginning that the players were not putting effort and contentration enough; it is not just because of later fatigue.
I had warned last year that Inzaghi had started to become predictable and other teams had started to learn how to play us. I was told to “calm down” at the time by some people on this forum.
0 ball knowledge. with all due respect. inzaghi ball made pep on his knees 2 years ago. sent a strong bayern and thr brst barca home. dude seriously you know nothing. what does barca and bayern play? 433.
pep copied inzaghi to 3 at the back.
inzaghi 3 at the back isnt really 3 at the back. i said more than i should cos even a blind person would see that
Blaming our squad for losing the title sounds like a coping mechanism. We have a very deep squad and competitive at that.
Take off DiMarco, Chala,….let them rest for next week. Put on the youngsters that are dressed for this match.
2 nil Napoli…..oh well
If this was a penalty, then footballers aren’t allowed to have any lats… Tragic that defenders are forced to keep their arms up. Enough with this tragic rule giving a penalty for a ball going where a natural body part happens to be placed.
CORREA!!! Our man!
2-0 for napoli btw
Correa sighting!! Wow!
Beppe needs to convince Oaktree to hire Conte for domestic league, and inzaghi will be only busy with CL progress
Mctominay is a better attacker than bot Taremi and Arna
conte material. he is a proper version of Gags for conte lol
If there was any hope going into tonight, Cagliari aren’t even trying…. 15 shots to nil, and 73% possession for Napoli…. Really pisses me off how much Credit Conte will be given for this, with his stuttering 39 game season, but the truth is we don’t really deserve the Scudetto this season…. All eyes on Munich!!!!
We don’t deserve the Scudetto, Napoli don’t deserve it either. A race filled with weak performances from both sides.
Fully agree…. been a very strange season….
ok, let’s give the title to fiorentina, because they have beautiful jerseys lol
we lost it with lazio last week
We lost it with draw with Monza.
The loss to Bologna and Roma for me were the time Inter lost it. It was season were there was no one team that was better than others. Inter were clearly focused on the CL and it paid off because reaching the final wasn’t easy at all. Now they have one match against PSG to try to achieve the main goal for years. Remember when Rube were dominant they didn’t manage to win the CL but this Inter can do it simply because PSG are not Barcelona
Roma got their revenge for 2010, I guess
Get ready beer for me.
It will only pay off if we win it. Just imagine we made to the UCL final and did not win a single trophy. That would be something lol
Well, if so… then we did not lose both having Messi, Mbappe… That would be something! No, wait….
monza too. we had plenty of chances though… anyway. good thing is that big changes will be made this summer, hopefully some quality signings to improve our bench. we choked because we have our main squad playing both in CL and domestic title race , same players in every single game, they are devastated.
Better Napoli than Juve or Milan.
folks, was red card really necessary? i think there was still another como player there besides reina. if this becomes another controversy, there will be no hope of serie a refs
There isnt much to complain ,as far as i know outside of the box if a GK makes any kind of foul it is a straight red for him
Since it is almost half time i went to check Napoli game , i knew they took the lead but i hoped Cagliari is puting in some effort. 0 shots in whole half , 25% possesion.. well at least it is only 1-0 so there is still hope
Cagliari does not even get in penalty area to dram a PK. No offense whatsoever. It’s over I fear
Never seen a Forward back pass as much as Correa,
I don’t mind the going slightly backwardm as long as we keep the ball and sometimes find the right movements forward… as we saw just at the end here with Calhanoglu going forward.
Obvious red
LOL #59, way to go!! haha
Napoli scored f*ck
scott fking mctominay.
That McTominay guy should declared a saint in Naples. haha
Hate to say it but that was a nice finish for the goal.
Yeah Cagliari’s players did not see that coming. Beautiful goal indeed.
We are wasting chances but its looking good this formation is good for the team
Anyone watching this and thinking bisseck is decent is completely moronic, all he’s done is give the ball away, make crazy forward runs leaving humongous gaps at the back and little effort to get back in, then under the cross he’s been absolutely lost twice… nowhere near a man or the ball.
Ffs why can people see how dreadful he is?
He can barely pass either..
People see this big man marauding forward and think that’s good – it’s not if you can’t do the basics of your actual position!
If he plays against PSG we are absolutely f**ked
I guess the reason he plays it’s because for the PSG match Pavard will at least be fit
The marauding forward, might be instructed as he keeps playing that way. Inzaghi should do something more to balance it, definitely!
Nico Paz….ok we’ve seen you. We want you. Please stop playing so hard!!! lol
Waiting for miracle.
If not for that penalty last week i would be enjoying myself after that goal…
Doing the job!!! Napoli is pressing hard though!!!
If we win today, perhaps we should start this team in the CL final as well. If so, this will be our “in form” lineup! The formation is more 3-4-2-1 than 3-4-3, but I am hoping to see a 3-4-3 variation next year, should we get some quick offensive wingers.
No matter the outcome of Serie A, what a time to be Interista. Let’s see what fate has in store for us today! I have faith in these players to control what we can – our own game.
3-4-2-1 gives us more options on variety on players too.
wingers like v.carboni, luis henrique (marseille) would be more comfortable as the “2”
I will be surprised if we don’t see Thuram on the left wing/AMC with wide duties like Zalewski. We already got Frattesi, maybe we get to see Carboni during the club WC?
We should keep Zalewski!
I like to only say, the focus on favoring a team today will be on Napoli vs. Cagliari match. After obvious match fixing with the help of corrupt FIGC VAR person during Inter vs. Lazio, they are not going to tamper with Como vs. Inter today. But if Napoli is not winning the game by beginning of second half, you will witness favorable calls for Napoli will start until they are comfortably wining. This entire season of officiating is beyond tainted, it is flat out fixed so Inter do not win the Scudetto two years back to back. And VAR rules conveniently changes without any explanation as why it changed to favor only one team (Napoli) this season.
I’d rather not go down the Barca fan route of blaming the refs for our shortcomings, even though the officiating this season has been dreadful!!
VAR isn’t to blame for Arnautovic, Taremi and Correa being a waste of space all season… VAR isn’t to blame for our failure to close out games like last season…. nor for Barella playing at walking pace against Lazio, or Acerbis half arsed silly backwards header that led to the first goal…. the fact is that the players are to blame, as they have quite clearly prioritised the Champions league, and have blatantly saved energy during league matches…. if it pays off, then fantastic, but if it doesn’t, there will be a lot of regret at the end of this season….
given inter’s history, you can’t blame us for raising doubts on referee’s standard. and you also agreed that the officiating has been dreadful.
the players not performing up to standard and referee giving 50-50 calls to a particular team are two mutually independent events that can happen.
Everything you said is true but you must understand that when VAR just decides to switch off when a decision favours Inter it means there’s nothing you can do but hope. Football is a game of fine margins and if key decisions go against you it doesn’t matter how good or bad you are
In the position we’re in, I’m not surprised by this line up, and if we win the Champions League, then everything will be wonderful!!
If we don’t, the the attitude of our first 11 (Barella, Acerbi, and everyone else playing at 40%) against Lazio will have cost us the Scudetto, and we’ll end with nothing….
What a bonkers season!!
Enjoy the game Interisti…. the trolls can suck my nuts!!
