Yann Bisseck wants to “move on” from his handball penalty for Inter Milan in their costly 2-2 draw against Lazio.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the UEFA Open Media day, via FCInterNews, the German looked back on the pivotal incident.
Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck had a mach of ups and downs against Lazio a couple weeks ago.
First, the German international scored Inter’s opening goal right on the stroke of halftime.
However, in the match’s closing stages, Bisseck gave away a handball penalty.
At this stage, the Nerazzurri were 2-1 up on the night.
Meanwhile, Napoli were drawing their own match away to Parma.
Had Inter held on to their advantage, then they would have gone ahead of Napoli in the table. However, Pedro equalized for Lazio, and things remained level at the top of the table.
Yann Bisseck: “Let’s Move On” From Penalty In Inter Milan 2-2 Lazio

Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck looked back on that decisive moment.
“Football is like that,” said the 24-year-old.
“Sometimes it goes well. Other times, not so much.”
“I feel sorry to everyone else,” Bisseck said. “But I don’t feel sorry for myself.”
“For the fans, we were so close to the Scudetto. It happened. But I have to look forward and move on.”
Then, Bisseck stated that “I think I played a good match against Lazio, but everyone just thinks back to that last moment.”
“Even I forget that I had even scored,” the German said.
“But that’s how football is. I have to grow, it can happen. But Saturday is the most important thing, and I’ll be fine.”
Then, Bisseck admitted that “sometimes my arm is too far out from my body.”
“But I’m 24 years old. These kinds of things will happen again in the future.”
“But I have to keep playing,” Bisseck emphasized.
“I know that the coach and my teammates consider me to be a player who can help the team. And I have to show it on the pitch.”
And of the controversy around the handball, Bisseck commented that “if the referee says that it’s a penalty, then it probably was one.”
Bisseck Says Inter “Have To Defend As A Team” Vs PSG

Then, Bisseck gave his thoughts on the upcoming Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
“We have to defend as a team,” the German said. “We have to help each other out.”
“We beat Bayern and Barcelona. We can’t be afraid.”
Then, Bisseck added that “we’re not worried, we’ve beaten great teams and now we have confidence in ourselves, playing the way we always have.”
“We’re a very strong team,” the German declared. “We have our chance.”
Then, Bisseck said that Inter “have to forget what happened” in the Serie A title race as they head into next weekend’s final against PSG.
“We were all disappointed,” the 24-year-old admitted. “That’s normal.”
“But there’s a more important match on Saturday. We have to stay focused, prepare for it.”
“We have a great chance of winning,” Bisseck was very confident.
Geez some people just can’t be bothered to be have patience. you guys bashed inzaghi for not trusting young players, but so merciless when said young players actually played and inevitably makes some mistakes. how are Inter supposed to grow any good talents if you demand them to be sold immediately after every mistakes
I personally didnt suggest inter to grow young talent in their first team, unless they really good like bastoni or barella. Coz a lot of inter fans are glory hunters and they dont have patience.
My only complaint is when he would always say something like how we are better and then we would lose on our next match.
Yes, for some reason, i always seen him lost his focus in the late game that coz inter so many point in serie a. Inzaghi need to find solution for that asap.
This clown cost Inter a serie a title and that’s the best thing he can say? He deserves to be sold immediately and benched on Saturday. From the first game of the season this man has made mistakes. Handball against Genoa? So the whole season pass and he didn’t learn anything? What a clown and a hole.
inter dont need fake fans go nd support another team dickhead
This clown better not play Saturday!!!!!
He’ll end up in their box while acerbi and bastoni get blamed for trying to cover for his dumb ass!!
inter dont need fake fans you are no different than the fans leaving the stadium when inter were trailing 3-2 to barcelona football is a team sport real fans support the team in good and bad times fake fans hype a player one weak another blame him
couldnt agree less brother
Perhaps we will have Pavard ready to go and ready for at least 45 mins…
he’s not clown, but surely he’s not ready for big matches. I pointed out his mistakes during both legs against barca and bayern.
I hope we will sell him.
this commeny is 100% why inter never develop young player.
