Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Benjamin Pavard in defense against PSG. This evening’s Champions League final showdown kicks off at 21.00 CET.
Inter Milan face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final this evening.
This evening’s match will define Inter’s season.
Therefore, it is little surprise to see Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi go with his strongest available starting eleven. Accordingly, there is no thought of squad rotation.
For the first time in months, Inzaghi has his entire squad at his disposal.
Therefore, the Inter coach has not had to make any tough decisions.
PSG Vs Inter Milan Champions League Final – Benjamin Pavard Starts

The big team news for Inter is the return of defender Benjamin Pavard.
The Frenchman last played more than a month ago, picking up an ankle sprain in a Serie A clash with Roma.
However, Pavard has fully recovered from that injury. Therefore, he is back in the starting eleven.
Meanwhile, Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni complete the Inter back three in front of Yann Sommer.
In midfield, then, it is the first-choice trio of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Nicolo Barella.
Lautaro Martinez & Marcus Thuram Lead The Line

On the flanks, meanwhile, Federico Dimarco and Denzel Dumfries start for Inter.
Lastly, in attack it is the duo of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
Both Martinez and Thuram have dealt with some injury issues in recent weeks. Therefore, they have not played together all that often since the start of April.
However, in the Champions League knockouts they have been Inter’s main strikers. Accordingly, both are in the starting eleven this evening.
On the bench, meanwhile, Inter have plenty of potential difference-makers.
Most notably, midfielder Davide Frattesi has come off the bench to score decisive goals against both Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the Champions League knockouts.

Well, I guess Lahm was right.. Serie a lacks intensity, that’s why inter tend to dominate games, but the moment they and the rest of serie a teams play versus decent teams from other leagues, they suffer… Imagine being eliminated by the likes of Club brugge, and PSV… No disrespect to them, but there’s all disrespect to serie a sides… What this shows is that coaches do not seem to train their players to play with intensity and the lack of pace and skill was glaring for all to see… Now Ligue 1 the farmers’ league is better than serie a, whether fans here would want to agree or not.. If you like call me names, but the fact is that inter, and serie a were at the receiving end of the most embarrassing defeat in UCL final history… Let that sink in….. HAHA
You are right 100%… I finally found someone who isn’t delusional about the reality. Man I’ve been called all sort of names on here for speaking the truth and sometimes agreeing with Cassano. Most ppl on here only worry about the results and not how we play. This was a humbling defeat but not a teachable moment I fear. Most persons will continue to say just strengthen the squad with younger players but if we continue to go after players who are slow and aren’t good technically then there will be no progress. It’s as simple as this.
We got fast players instead of miki he should ve played frattesi and the polish guy behind Thuram and rest Lautaro for the second half and DeMarco the less i say about him the better, next season I don’t want to see Darmian, Accerbi, Devrij, miki, arna, ta remi and Demarco
Nah.. We need experienced players to teach the younger ones who will never be used… Lol
our fitness coach needs to be sack always our players are tired today our players look very boring
