Beppe Marotta says that there is “no cause for alarm” regarding the future of Simone Inzaghi at Inter Milan despite comments after the Champions League final.

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi made comments about his future that were far from reassuring after today’s Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The 49-year-old said that he “doesn’t know” whether he will be coach of Inter for the Club World Cup.
This naturally only served to fuel the rumours about Inzaghi’s future.
The former Lazio coach has been at Inter for four years now. And there is a certain feeling that he may have come to the end of his cycle – particularly after a result like this evening’s.
Meanwhile, Inzaghi has also reportedly received a massive money offer from Al-Hilal.
Marotta: “No Cause For Alarm” About Inzaghi Future At Inter

But Inter President Beppe Marotta brushed off the comments from Inzaghi. “He made some remarks,” said the President of Inzaghi’s words.
“We’ll meet with him and hear what he has to say.”
But Marotta made clear that “we’re very proud to continue on with him.”
“His response means nothing,” the Nerazzurri President insisted. “We’ll listen to him, there’s no cause for alarm.”
Meanwhile, Marotta said that the loss to PSG this evening “will not affect” Inter’s decision about Inzaghi.
“Not only does he have a contract which we’ve decided to meet with him this week about, he also deserves credit for this team’s positive cycle.”
“If he wants and intends to continue we’re absolutely happy to.”
“The future is a continuation of a winning cycle of this team,” said Marotta. “We’re meeting with the coach simply because we don’t want to have a coach on an expiring contract.
Marotta made clear that “we’d like to continue on with him by extending his contract.”
“This cycle has worked very well, with exceptional results. There doesn’t have to be a revolution.”
Now go for coach who can play with 4-3-2-1 formation.
Goalkeppers same, right side Dumfries, left Augusto. Centre backs Pavard(Bisseck), Bastoni(De Vrij). Midfield leave Barella, Hakan and Zielinski, Right winger Henrique, on left Dimarco and Zalewski (both are just too big of a liability in defense, but they are good in attack), and leave Lautaro and Thuram to rotate in attack.
Thanks for everything to Acerbi, Darmian and Mhiki but they are too old. The rest (Asllani, Frattesi, Arna, Taremi, Correa) were never up to task.
So we need backup players for rb,lb and rw, and 3 solid players in miidfield, Hopefully we don’t get to experience debacle like last night ever more
I agree with u, but Lautaro wont work , better to cash up on him!
We won’t find better rb than Dumfries, so we need a young player as backup that can improve gradually, like Zanotti. He had a solid season in Swiss league, inter child, future representative. We got rid of Bellanova easily, then he exploded in Atalanta. on left side i would go for Calafiori, he will be a bit pricey, but he is young so it should be good purchase. Buy Bertola as free agent, send him on load one season, so he can be future first team player. Midfield Sucic and Fabbian (buy-back clause) should be good for Serie A games, i would go for Taylor from Ajax, good season, he can replace Hakan on long-term. Ricci is the same as Asllani in my opinion, bad season, didn’t improve at all, that’s why i would preffer Fabbian over him.
Right winger beside Henrique, who is secured i think, i would buy either Orsolini (constantly one of the best wingers in serie A last couple of seasons, or Gnonto, young homegrown player who can improve still i think)
“This cycle has worked very well, with exceptional results. There doesn’t have to be a revolution”
I think he is delusional if he actually thinks that. He is already behind with changes. The team is super old and he did not help with additions for this failed season. No changes means Inter will not even reach Conference next year.
