Inter Milan have identified Roberto De Zerbi and Cesc Fabregas as the top two candidates to replace Simone Inzaghi.
Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, either De Zerbi or Fabregas will take the 49-year-old’s job next season.
It’s official – Simone Inzaghi has decided to cut short his four-year stay at San Siro.

Honestly our best bet would be Italiano, he has bigger experience than Cesc. Unless board would want to spend some big money for good coach, someone like Emery or someone on his level.
What hurts is no trophy next season with coach who is lower level than Inzaghi.
Maybe we manage to win the Coppa or Supercoppa.
After that final bro there was no other choice and who’s to say the offer he received influenced the final. Everyone including the players knew when the team was 3-0 down that was the end of the story and the coach responded by subbing in Asllaani knowing full well the guy offers nothing when players with much more to give like Frattessi or Zielinski are out. Inzaghi could’ve stayed for another year or so but why do that when it’s clear the coach has no interest in continuing so it would’ve been a waste of transfer money. But now the new coach would actually know he will at least get a few key players from the transfer market fit for his playing style. That final was weird like even relegation teams in France would’ve had more chances of winning than what the whole world just witnessed. A loss like that there’s no going back from it and Inzaghi taking break would’ve made more sense than going to a team that offered him lucrative money just days before the final

Everything points towards Fabregas. The management want to rejuvenate the squad and focus on young players. Fabregas is excellent at developing (and give playing time) to youngsters. Plus he had Como play really well. Plus he knows serie A and italian language. If Inters new coach is not Fabregas i will be very surprised.
No to both. Just the fact that both names are entertained it is an indicative that the management are not seeking any trophy and will be happy with being 17 or close to the relegation zone next season. NO 100% no to both.

We can only pick few, and these are Cesc, De Zerbi, Vieira, Chivu which didnt won anything, or maybe only Mancini, Mourinho, Motta, Xavi, Palladino. Still i prefer somehow Fabregas cuz he plays an attacking football and prefers younger players like Oaktree.
