Aleksandar Kolarov is not the only familiar face who will be joining the coaching staff of Cristian Chivu at Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that there will also be three other notable returns.

Cristian Chivu has named his coaching staff at Inter Milan.

Most notably, former defender Aleksandar Kolarov will be the 44-year-old’s assistant.

Kolarov spent two years as an Inter player between 2020 and 2022. Prior to then, he had played for the likes of Lazio, Manchester City, and Roma.

Inter had also targeted Giovanni Martusciello and Walter Samuel as potential assistants for Chivu.

However, it’s Kolarov who has arrived in the end.
