Federico Dimarco was “the worst player on the pitch” for Inter Milan against Urawa Red Diamonds.
Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, argue that the 27-year-old was off the pace and offered little.
Inter Milan did get the win that they were after against Urawa Red Diamonds. The Nerazzurri won in the last gasps of the match, with Valentin Carboni scoring the decisive goal in stoppage time.

However, Inter had to do it the hard way.
For much of the first half, the Nerazzurri were held at arm’s length by Urawa Red Diamonds.
Particularly after the Japanese side went ahead early on, Inter dominated the ball but struggled to turn it into any particularly dangerous chances.
Federico Dimarco Branded “Worst Player On The Pitch” For Inter Vs Urawa Red Diamonds

Italian international Federico Dimarco was unsurprisingly in the Inter starting eleven against Urawa Reds.
The 27-year-old had come into the lineup after being a substitute against Monterrey.
However, Dimarco showed little of why he is a key player for Inter.
There were no particularly dangerous crosses or deliveries from set pieces from the Italian international.
Then, defensively Dimarco was partly culpable for the breakdown on Inter’s right side that allowed Urawa to score their opening goal.
you know what? lauti dan dima are getting fatter than all your moms and nobody notices it. I don’t see him trying to through the opponents lately, his fat belly makes it hard. also lauti, with that fat belly, he’s getting slower and easily to take down
i saw him getting fat and this is the reason nobody want to buy him !
di marco was bad in last couple months, because he was overused! he played even when he was 20% ready, he needs a rest. Yes , it might be mental too, would you have a mental breakdown if you go bald 26-27years old ????
DiMarco hasn’t been the same since the turn of the year…. Seems to be some sort of mixture between fitness and confidence…. I think the thing he needs most- like a few others- is rest….
Unsurprising how quickly so many on here forget how much of a key player DiMarco has been over the last 4 seasons, but hey, The boyhood Inter fan is having a hard time, so get rid immediately…. some fans….
I have said it b4 that demarco is inter’s weakest link.
Dimarco is fantasic player and true interista. He is having a bad period but he will get throught it. Hope he stays in Inter for many years
People watching this game and picking out anyone other than Carlos or asllani as the worst performers have an ulterior motive.
It was possibly Carlos worst game for inter period.
No, we don’t have an “ulterior motive”. You just have a pro-Italian bias.
Anyways, I think that the weakest player was Sebastiano Esposito.
Asllani was good in the first 20 minutes, Augusto indeed under performed, but Demarco man, as much as I love him, he really performed bad as UCL final. To be honest other than the assist, Barella didnt perform well neither. Lauti really stepped up in these two games, nice leader, nice captain. Youngsters are the future, Esposito brothers, Sucic nice work. Hopefully Henrique can show up too!
If Dimarco does not improve next season, then he should be sold as he is currently in decline. Either he reverses that or moves on.
who are the other two?
Something happened to DiMarco in January, it is not just an injury, mentally he has lost everything he had, he is not improving much and I think is a good idea to offload him sooner than later.
Spot on. Exactly what I’ve been thinking for ages.
