Fiorentina are no longer interested in Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani and will challenge the Nerazzurri for Adrian Bernabe instead.
Per Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Stefano Pioli’s men have shifted their focus toward the Parma playmaker.
Kristjan Asllani has been on the fringes of the Inter squad since arriving from Empoli in 2022.
Indeed, he has been playing second-fiddle to Hakan Calhanoglu these past few years.
Therefore, many anticipated his exit heading into the summer.
Fiorentina Drift Away from Inter Milan Ace Kristjan Asllani & Focus on Adrian Bernabe

Calhanoglu’s rumored exit could reignite Asllani’s career at the San Siro.
However, Petar Sucic’s arrival threatens to undermine his first-team opportunities, leaving his future in limbo.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina must add to their midfield options after what happened to Edoardo Bove last term.
Asllani had long been La Viola’s target. But the Albanian playmaker is no longer in their crosshairs.
Instead, they will rival Inter for the signature of Bernabe.
The Spaniard has emerged as a potential replacement for Calhanoglu, but Fiorentina could spoil Inter’s plans.
Blame Inzaghi for Asllani’s poor development. If Inzaghi played with Asllani & Fratessi we could get best midfielders in Europe. Unfortunately, Inzaghi used Calha (good at some, not big game player) & Mhiki (at his age he played superb, but but…) for downfalls.
Let’s hope Chivu give decent playing time for Asllani & Fratessi.
Just to play Devils Advocate for all the Asllani haters out there…. Inter did not lose a single game in which Asllani started last season, including the 3 so far at the club World Cup….
He’s far from perfect, and definitely needs to improve his positioning in terms of defensive play, but the hatred for him is somewhat unwarranted…. just saying….
Asllani might become a beast under Chivu… Just saying…
he is just 23 years old
hasnt played regularly
good with both feet
he needs to improve his physicallity n his defensive positioning n awareness, including his tackling which i think the worst n also he needs to be more confident n comfortable on himself but he cant if he doesnt play regularly
in these last three matches he is improving especially in his defensive positioning
whatever it is i wish him the best for his career
His strongest trait is intelligence. Like you say, it takes regular playing time to build confidence and develop. He may or may not ever get the chance in this team to prove himself but his quality is something that simpletons would never recognize. He has the potential to be the type to play a pass no one else can see and do all the small things most don’t recognize.
Nobody wants him because hes sh*t
relax bro
I do not like Asslani either as he seems pretty average, but tbf he wasnt given any play time for the last 3 seasons which halted his development. Imagine a 20 year old playing like how Aslani is playing now. Most people would be pretty excited about his potential. I do agree that we need to get rid of him, but I do feel unfortunate and resent Inaghi so much for ruining his career.
Bad news for us
