It’s been an economically beneficial FIFA Club World Cup journey for Serie A giants Inter Milan thus far.
Per FCInter1908, the Italians have already earned around €33 million for their tournament exploits.
As one of Serie A’s two representatives in the United States, Inter Milan gained €21.6m as a participation bonus.
However, that’s hardly the end of the windfall.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri could significantly boost their summer budget by the end of the competition.
Inter Milan Reap Substantial Rewards from Club World Cup Participation

Inter’s on-field success has unlocked additional performance-based rewards.
Last night’s victory over River Plate handed the club another financial injection.
Indeed, the group-stage triumph and progression to the knockout rounds brought in an extra €11.4m.
For further context, Inter’s day-one draw against CF Monterrey saw them claim €900,000 for the share of the spoils.
Then, wins over Urawa Red Diamonds and River Plate have added another €3.6m – €1.8 per victory.
Finally, a place in the knockout stages has poured an additional €6.9m into the club’s coffers.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu and his players will have an extra incentive to overcome Fluminense in the Round of 16.
and of course that money will either be place in the CEO’s pockets or toward the so called “Debts”
relax we can still get him but only if we move fast
So you just won 33 mln. Go and buy Leoni then. You have the money, he has the talent and mentality, don’t be cheap.
Have you all noticed how Davide and Okechukwu are nowhere to be seen once Inter made it to through after a dominating display against River Plate? Top of the group too. They were all excited when Inter were down against Monterrey and Urawa, but you can’t even find them when things are going well. Especially Oke who had to wait until literally the last game of the season to show up and spam his dense comments about how Inter is daft and Serie A is weak, etc.
Since this is an article related to financials, you can expect Davide to show up and claim that Oaktree will pocket all of the earning and not spend a dime, even though Inter has already purchased two promising players and are still out in the market. Oh well, there is no cure to stupidity.
nah, they will be back.
people like them get kicks out of spreading negativities and stirring others up.
Rubentus 1 Man city 5 so far! Hope it will end 1-7
Pio just his mouth up yesterday..
But, he will always find new things to troll..
After I wrote one of those guys not saying a word something harsh, I didn’t see the name after my comment for a year… or two? Perhaps it was due to waiting for a window where his decadent trolling could find some foothold by Inter being out of form.
I see no reason to be annoyed when the negativity is of a paranoid style… maybe we can call the “Football manager utopists”.
When we finally played our youngsters, Inter was called Parma.
When people consider conversations a competition, then you get these kinds of archaic personality… where they believe their emotions to be the world. Archaic cavemen online.
Being annoyed at these characters would be like blaming a 3 year old for his tantrums. Some people just stay there forever.
I dont give a fuck. We missed out on Christian for being cheap. Fuck this management
Missed out on Christian? Christian Who?
Christhian Mosquera.
relax we can still get him but only if we move fast
He is Arsenal’s, it is too late now.
Can you relax? Ever since we got our asses handed to us by PSG in the final, a lot of fans think that this team is done for. In reality, Inter played their worst game of the season against the best team in Europe, and there were circumstances that paved the way for this scenario (Inzaghi negotiating with Al Hilal instead of focusing on this match and losing out on the Scudetto).
Do we need new players, preferably younger? No doubt. But that doesn’t change the fact that the core of this team is still good enough to compete on all fronts. I know you’re eager to get rid of any player that is over 30, but I just want to remind you that if you replace all older players with younger ones, the impact will not be immediate and there are no guarantees it will work favorably. Arnautovic is gone, Darmian and De Vrij are not even starters, Hakan and Taremi seem to be on their way out, and until proven otherwise, there aren’t simply any players in our rosters that are better than Mkhitaryan and Acerbi in their respective positions, even at their age. They both have been great since joining and their contracts end in June 2026 anyways
Inter is taking a different approach compared to the entirety of Inzaghi’s tenure: we no longer need to sell players, we are no longer pursuing older players on a free transfer, we are going after young talents, and Chivu has worked with the academy players at all levels. Chivu has already showed that he trusts academy players and so far, they’ve had a positive impact.
This will probably be a transition year; older players will finish their contracts and then give room to all of the younger players that are being added to the team. Even with this being a transition year, I think Inter can still challenge for Scudetto/Coppa Italia and make it to the knockout stage of the CL.
Barca is the best team in Europe, not PSG. They just fell victim of their hubris in the UCL.
I guess it’s a matter of opinion. I think both teams are great and will be on top for years to come. But my point is that even though Inter suffered a humiliating defeat in the CL final, Inter is still a top team that can compete against Europe’s elite and can (and must) challenge the Scudetto next season.
Agreed.
All we need to do to win the Scudetto next season is to play with a 3-4-1-2 system, get some additional goals from Pio Esposito, and Frattesi&Carboni as CAMs, and buy a quality CB. If we sell Asllani, Zielinski and Hakan and buy Jashari for more energy and movement, it would be even better. We still have the best team in Italy.
OMG could you please stop with Jashari anymore, man would think that he is second coming of Jesus how much u are mentioning him. Is he good? Yes, But it’s not like there aren’t players who are in similar form, probably even cheaper and better. Barella is the only starter material curently. Both Hakan and Zielinski are replacable, cause they are more and more injury prone, high wage, downard career. Asllani, after 3 years didn’t make much improvement so in my opinion he is definitely up for sale. Henrikh should be left to play out his contract, but in a smaller role. Sucic should be able to get more chances instead of him. As for Frattesi and Carboni, i would leave them both to rotate on AM position. So we need just 1 player in midfield instead of Asllani and Hakan/Zielinski
I won’t stop, I can talk about Jashari as much as I want. Anyways, I see that you agree with me, which is nice. Fans are able to see the direction where the club needs to go to, it remains to be seen whether the management shares the same vision.
😀 Many are saying that we need a lot more players to come, can’t say that i agree with that. Whole last season was solid, until very end, Inzaghi did get much out of this team, but he also didn’t manage playing time very well. We had 50+ games last season + this cup, if Chivu can manage better playing time, don’t see why he couldn’t challenge for 1st place, quarter finals of Champions league, and win either cup or super cup. He need to be able to fluidly transform formations to 3-4-2-1, 3-4-1-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-2-1 even, so that we don’t play whole season with same formation.
As for incoming transfers, we should be able in upcoming 2 seasons to smoothly go from oldest squad to maybe average age of 26-27 years.
Goalkeepers: We need new n.1, Martinez is not starter material for us. If we can get Svilar or Petrovic that would be great (Gigi, Carneseechi are too expensive for us).
Centrebacks: I wouldn’t touch left side, right side Pavard is good for 2 more seasons, Bisseck is relatively ok, if he can improve upon his low concetration moments in game, or maybe eve sell him for 40+ mil. As for Acerbi and de Vrij, this season we need 1 new player instead of one of them, the next season replace 2nd one. Mosquera should be cheaper than Leoni, both are young, and maybe try next season for Scalvini if we can.
Sides are ok, Augusto can also cover left side, problem is that both Dimarco and Zalewski are more wing midfielders and wingers than leftbacks. Right side Dumfries found good balance between off and def, hopefully Luis do the same. As for attack, starters we already have, Bonny completely unnecessary, either of Espositos are good enough for 4th striker, but we need someone good, who can guarantee us 25+ g+a as 3rd striker. From italian league there ain’t anyone who is good enough, that we can buy him.
Im fuming so much that we missed out on a talent that Arsenals getting for 17mil and we needed a new defender so it angers me even more. I’m just so sick of these waiting games. Susic was a purchase from last season so Luis is the only one we bought so far this season. Seeing other teams getting their players already even fraustrates me more. I know we dont need many buys but I think we need atleast 2 for defence and midfield to replace Hakan if sold. Como is already geting the players they need and here we are playing waiting game just cause we dont want to spend 20mil.
