Despite joining the club as a backup option for Marcus Thuram, this is a massive step in Bonny’s career.

For context, he played for Ligue 2 outfit Châteauroux before joining Parma, who were still in Serie B.

Indeed, last season was his first in top-flight football as he helped the Crusaders stay in Serie A against the odds.

Thrilled with the opportunity to wear the Nerazzurri shirt, Bonny stated: “I am very happy.”

Meanwhile, he will reunite with Cristian Chivu, who launched his rise at Stadio Ennio Tardini.
