Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries have not reacted well to what Lautaro Martinez had to say after Inter Milan’s loss to Fluminense.
Per Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, several Nerazzurri stars have felt targeted by El Toro after Inter’s Club World Cup exit.
Lautaro Martinez lost his temper after the Nerazzurri slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Fluminense on Monday night.
Indeed, in a now-infamous statement, the 27-year-old urged all unsettled players to leave San Siro.
That has caused unrest in the dressing room.

The same goes for Dumfries, who lacked his usual grit and determination on the flank.
Therefore, Lautaro’s words have left the Inter locker room in tatters.
It’s now up to Cristian Chivu to defuse the situation. Furthermore, he must help the Nerazzurri start the new season on the front foot.

I agree this was a really stupid move by the captain which was totally unnecessary after a painful season but even still Marotta has lost his brain and he is the main culprit, as he name called Hakan. It was probably the worst thing Marotta has done in management. We’ve created a mess of nothing, just get off the pitch and go rest. Now we’re talking about this nonsense instead of transfers which should be the main focus.
We need at least 4 first team players minimum if not 5 to compete in all competitions. 2 players I think we’ve been linked with Ederson & Stiller, we need both which would be awesome. 1 is a controlling midfielder and the other a dynamic midfielder. Hakan is going and these are the types of profile to take us to next level.
It was a great move by the captain it needed to be said. Marrota took it too far but Lautaro’s words were completely necessary. Anyone that feels insulted by what he said should request to leave so we can get there replacements.

The pathological liar mouthpiece Marotta wanted a scapegoat for his failure and lies. If you think inter will not be in the relegation zone think again. We’ve been pretty bang average for 3 months and got humiliated twice in the last 4 weeks and the captain comes out and merely says “if you’re not committed to being here you should leave”

Priority would be to take the captains armband away from Martinez, you cant have a captain causing problems like this which then need to be defused with the team by the Manager. Players can say these things publicly but the Captain cannot, the Captain has to say it behind closed doors to the team. He’s a locker room leader but he’s not captain material
sell lautaro. he is average. he is toxic in our locker room.
We will hardly hold any chances of winning trophies in the next season without 4-5 incoming top players. So far we have got none ad given the budget the Oaktree is willing to invest, we won’t get any during this transfer window. We will struggle to finish top 4 and if we miraculously manage to do that it may easily be our biggest achievement next season .
