Inter Milan and Empoli are reportedly in advanced talks over a loan deal for Argentine winger Franco Carboni.
According to TMW, the parties have already agreed on basic terms, but the formula is the missing part.
Indeed, Carboni should join the Azzurri on a season-long loan, with Empoli hoping to secure a quick return to Serie A.
Roberto D’Aversa’s side failed to maintain their top-flight status in 2024/25, finishing narrowly below safety.
Inter Milan & Empoli in Talks for Franco Carboni Loan Deal

Like his brother Valentin Carboni, Franco will temporarily leave San Siro again.
However, Valentin will join Genoa on loan without a buyout clause.
On the other hand, Franco should move to Stadio Carlo Castellani on different terms.
Indeed, that’s the subject of conversation between Inter and Empoli.
The parties have yet to decide whether to include a buyout option or even make it mandatory.
Either way, Carboni is one step away from spending the 2025/26 campaign in Tuscany.
Yet, he’ll hope for a better season after only making eight appearances for Venezia last term.
