Oaktree plans to transform Inter Milan into a talent-driven club, starting with the redevelopment of ‘Interello.’
According to FCInter1908, Inter’s transformation under the American investment fund extends beyond just Stadio San Siro.
Indeed, Oaktree is pushing forward with plans to upgrade and expand Interello.
For context, that’s the training ground that hosts the club’s youth teams.
However, the facility is out of date, and the American owners are keen to turn it into a modern hub for young talent.
Oaktree Bid to Overhaul Inter Milan Youth Ground Interello

Oaktree’s plans to build a state-of-the-art stadium in the San Siro area are well-documented.
Furthermore, they’re working on renovating Appiano Gentile.
However, the owners’ ambitious project doesn’t end with the first team.
Instead, Oaktree hopes to strengthen Inter’s talent pipeline by creating an environment that matches the standards of Europe’s elite clubs.
Those plans testify to Oaktree’s long-term commitment to Inter and their vision for the club’s bright future.
Meanwhile, this project is part of the effort to maximize in-house resources and reduce dependence on the transfer market.
Where are all the dipshits and haters from the beginning, sayin its an investment fund, they will sell us with the first opportunity? I am really glad they are our owners and how they manage the future and present of the club. Catherine did more in few months then Zhang “Daddys boy” in few years in charge. Keep up the good work Oaktree, and shut the mouths of all those who dont know what actually a concern and a club is, living in a dreamworld where we should every mercato buy new players for 200 million without minimizing wages, costs and risks. Amazing job till now. Forza Inter!
no doubt Oaktree will sell inter if an offer too good to turn down is presented.
In order for Oaktree to maximize the selling price, they have to create value within the club, be it help inter to get a new stadium, improve its facilities, etc.
not spending a single dime on Inter would just make the club depreciates over time.
And if that happens we are still in better and stronger position then with Zhang or Thorir.
It’s easy to say that now, considering they came when Inter were in better shape. But I’m still grateful for what Tohir and Zhang did for the club. We should never compare them coz they came in totally different era.
What did Thorir do besides putting our club 5 years behind juventus and milan, you must be out of your mind if you think he was a good president
This is good. Oaktrees definitely cheap on transfers but I really like this kind of mindset. Inter needs to heavily invest in their youth sectors since they don’t have much to spend on new players. We haven’t generated any special talents that would fit into our first team straight away for years so this change is necessary.
I don’t think Oaktree is cheap on transfers, we’re on track to spend over 100m if we sign lookman. I just think we had a lot of positions to strengthen and the transfer strategy was get 3x for 20mil and one for 50mil. Instead of two good players for 50m. Thats the downside of having an old squad is when transfer markets come around we need a lot of positions not just one big signing but multiple but obviously hard to do that in one window
Edit: Just added it up, we’ve spent 66.5million already this transfer window making Lookman at 45m moving the amount spent to ~111.5m. We have have only sold 6.5m worth of players so far…
