Inter Milan are ready to raise their offer for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman in order to ward off interest from Arsenal.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews.
One thing that looks extremely clear is that Ademola Lookman wants to leave Atalanta this summer.
The 27-year-old made a public transfer request. He accused La Dea of breaking a “promise” to sell him this summer.
Furthermore, Lookman has no-showed training for the past few days.
It is also no secret that Lookman wants to join Inter. The player already has an agreement on personal terms with the Nerazzurri, who have had two offers turned down by Atalanta already.
Inter Ready To Raise Offer For Ademola Lookman To Ward Off Arsenal Interest

However, Inter are not necessarily the only team to be eyeing up a move for Lookman.
And the more time that passes without the Nerazzurri securing a deal, the likelier it is that other big European clubs could see the possibility to hijack the move.
One particularly formidable rival for Lookman’s signature would be Arsenal.
The Gunners have identified the Nigerian international as a possible transfer opportunity, according to recent reports.
Therefore, La Repubblica report, Inter are keen to raise their offer very soon to prevent Arsenal from nipping in.
