Negotiations between Atalanta and Inter Milan over the future of Ademola Lookman have reached an impasse.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the player is currently in London, where he expects to hear the latest developments.

When Inter and Lookman struck a verbal agreement over personal terms, the deal seemed all but done.

However, little did anyone know how stubborn Atalanta would be regarding their €50 million asking price.

Despite the Nigerian forward’s effort to force the transfer, La Dea’s stance remains unchanged.

Ademola Lookman has not set foot in Bergamo since the start of August as part of his plan to secure a move to Inter.

Furthermore, he is currently in London with his family. And he has no intention of returning to Italy for the time being.

Meanwhile, negotiations between Atalanta and the Nerazzurri remain at a standstill.

Although the Nerazzurri genuinely want to sign the 27-year-old, they will not increase their latest €45 million bid.
