Federico Dimarco has suffered nothing more than a thigh bruise in Inter Milan’s 2-0 friendly win over Olympiacos.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that there was no serious injury for the 27-year-old.
Inter Milan beat Olympiacos in a friendly match this evening.
This was the Nerazzurri’s final friendly match before the start of the Serie A season. They take on Torino in their league opener on Monday, August 25th.
Inter beat Greek giants Olympiacos 2-0 in their final friendly match of the season.
Wingback Federico Dimarco scored the Nerazzurri’s opener in the friendly win. Subsequently, striker Marcus Thuram wrapped up the win with a goal in the second half.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the pitch Inter managed to keep a clean sheet.
This will be a good sign for coach Cristian Chivu, appointed at the start of the summer.
Just A Thigh Bruise For Dimarco In Inter 2-0 Olympiacos Friendly

One worry for Inter was wingback Dimarco having to come off the pitch.
The 27-year-old may have scored the Nerazzurri’s opening goal. However, he later had to come off as a substitute.
There was some evident discomfort for Dimarco.
Naturally, this led to some anxiety about the fitness of the Italian international so close to the start of the new season.
However, according to FCInterNews, this was not a non-contact injury for Dimarco. Rather, the Inter wingback had simply sustained a thigh bruise.
because he is overworked loading up and defending and he’s a LM and lb
true.. in 352 system, LW/RW may not the highest coverage area, but the most player who doing sprint back and forward.. so we need at least 6 player who can play in that position. Dimarco/Augusto/Zalewski/ Dumfries/Henrique/Darmian
That’s one reason why I’d like to switch to a 3421. The 2 am/wingers can take some pressure or the wingbacks going forward.
Every three games Dimarco injured. What is the point in keeping a player that is always injured? Sell him and buy someone that can handle the pressure.
he’s always injured because he always plays on the most demanding position. we need more rotation
Weird how so many Inter fans want to get rid of the Interisti, who is responsible for about 35% of the entire teams creativity!! And he’s not actually injured that often…. just doesn’t get chance to recover when he is….
Last season ( his supposed horror season) he got 6 goals and 11 assists…. so far this pre season, he has 1 goal and 3 assists…. Don’t think it would be as easy as a lot of people think to replace him….
