Milan Skriniar left Inter Milan in the summer of 2023 to join perennial Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
In an interview with Gianluca Di Marzio via FCInterNews, he revealed the real reason behind his transfer to the Parc des Princes.
Signed from Sampdoria in 2017, Milan Skriniar grew to become one of Inter’s most influential figures.
Indeed, the Slovakian center-back established himself as one of Europe’s best defenders.

“Inter told me that if they didn’t receive an offer for another player in the squad, they would sell me. They wanted to bring in a player with different characteristics from mine. In the end, they didn’t manage to sign him and the club said they wouldn’t sell me anymore.”
