The Italian press have hit out at Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu after his side lost 4-3 to Juventus in the Derby d’Italia on Saturday.
Italian newspaper the Corriere della Sera have reflected on the match where Inter dominated the Bianconeri for large swathes.
However, the outlet claim that once again, defensive lapses led to the team throwing away their points.
Inter led the game 3-2 heading into the final ten minutes but a late double from Juventus switched the game on its head.
Inter Milan Boss Chivu Under-Fire “Old Inter Is Lost And New One Does Not Compare”

Whilst the team performed well in part, it is the head coach who has been attracting criticism.
The Corriere describe Chivu as being “halfway there.”
The paper wrote that “the old Inter” has gone and that “the new one does not compare.”
Chivu refused to change too much upon his arrival at Inter in the summer.
The Romanian took over from Simone Inzaghi but only marginally tweaked the pre-existing formation and tactics.
A strong summer transfer window was not enough to bring Inter into a new era.
The fact that he is not changing much shows the lack of experience. When a new manager is hired for a team they make drastic changes to implement their style of football as much as possible. What Chivu is doing just seems vague and doesn’t make much sense to me.
another brainless comment from you. first of all he was hirrd because he has similar style to inzaghi except the one we can see (unless you’re blind); aggressive pressure. second, he said he didn’t wanna mess with what’s well built from inzaghi’s team.
last game he didn’t put hakan in CDM position and play 5 flat midfielders instead. we didn’t see many backpasses this time and he moves it into final third which is big no to me, because the team was slowing down a lot and inter let juve ready to defense with all men behind the ball while inzaghi or conte used to play fast counter to bring anyone forward when the players already past their own half. the change is there, it’s you who’s blind. it’s just he needs to stop playing lauti and thuram together. I’d rather see bonny and esposito than those two cause they absolutely can do nothing.
last night it felt like we were playing with 7 midfielders, but nobody made overlapping or forward runs to unlock the opponents defense and fully relied on longshots to score which is bad. in other word it’s expected from a coach that only managed few games in highest level of serie a to take on one of hottest clubs in Europe, but you can’t fully blame him. I believe you blame inzaghi countless times now you see it’s really hard to bring this broken team up to his inter level. I believe if nothing changes this team is expected to fight hard just to be in CL next season at most and you’re welcome to cry every 3 days because we play very bad lol
touch grass, kid
Making dumb comments as always. If you know nothing about football, you should watch the matches and learn the basics before writing against everything I say. Fukn parasite is what people like you are called.
