Ange-Yoan Bonny is reportedly the frontrunner to replace Lautaro Martinez in Inter Milan’s upcoming showdown against Ajax.
According to FCInter1908, the Frenchman could take El Toro’s place in Inter’s first Champions League outing under Cristian Chivu.
Lautaro Martinez is arguably the most influential figure in the Nerazzurri dressing room.
In addition to his leadership skills, the 28-year-old is Inter’s most lethal goalscorer.
However, Cristian Chivu may be unable to call upon his captain on Wednesday.

this team desperately needs someone who can operate as traditional strikers instead of playing as another midfielder. I don’t really care about CL games even if inter won the trophy it’s like the bonus. consistencies in league is always my go to. losing big to league rivals hurts more than losing in any tournament finals especially to those who come into the stadium. last season we didn’t win against any rivals if my memory serves me right, inconsistencies all over the place and we continue to do so against them. this needs to be stopped
If the rumours are true, then I’m not surprising that Thuram will start, but I am appalled!! Maybe it’s my age, and the fact that I’m not part of the PC, Tik Tock, Soft Arse generation of football fans, but I found Thurams behavior completely unacceptable v Juve- if it was up to me he’d never wear the shirt again, but realistically, I at least expected a severe bollocking off management, and bench him for a couple of games… this is the first incident (if he plays) that makes me wonder whether Chivu has the leadership skills necessary for the job…. never mind tactics etc, if your gonna let players laugh in the face of their supporters, then the attitude of the team is never gonna be right for winning silverware…..
currently he is our best player in the squad, without him not much is happening in attack. but even then, he should be benched if the management want to set an example. Don’t care if your brother is the opponent, this game is do or die.
