Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu has decided to start Petar Sucic and Yann Bisseck against Slavia Prague. This evening’s Champions League Match Day 2 clash kicks off at 21:00 CEST at the San Siro.
After beating Ajax on Cristian Chivu’s touchline debut in the Champions League, Inter take on Slavia Prague on home turf.

Given the importance of the three points, Cristian Chivu has decided to field all of his heavy hitters.
Indeed, after recovering from a back injury, Lautaro Martinez will make his first European start of the season.
With El Toro back to full fitness, Francesco Pio Esposito will drop to the bench.
Inter Milan vs Slavia Prague – Yann Bisseck In The Starting XI

Firstly, the big team news ahead of the match is that Yann Bisseck will return to the starting lineup for the first time since August.
Indeed, the German defender last featured for Inter in a 2-1 home loss to Udinese in Serie A.
Therefore, he is ready to make his second appearance of the season.
Bisseck’s return means Manuel Akanji starts on the bench after the good performance against Cagliari.

In addition to Yann Bisseck, Francesco Acerbi will regain his place in defense at the expense of Stefan de Vrij.
As such, Alessandro Bastoni starts on the left side of Inter’s back three.
Cristian Chivu Puts Faith in Piotr Zielinski & Petar Sucic

Another couple of pre-match question marks surrounded the midfield and the left-hand side.
Despite performing well in Sardinia, Henrikh Mkhitaryan loses his place to Petar Sucic.
Furthermore, Piotr Zielinski starts. Therefore, Davide Frattesi and Nicolo Barella are benched.
Meanwhile, on the left-hand side, Federico Dimarco takes Carlos Augusto’s place. Therefore, the Brazilian drops to the bench.
Moreover, Denzel Dumfries gets the nod on the right wing, with Luis Henrique benched.
In attack, Marcus Thuram starts alongside Lautaro Martinez. Therefore, Ange-Yoan Bonny must wait for his first Nerazzurri start.

I commented on your comment that Pio is like Dzeko, you hated dzeko, what do you think of pio?
Good and important win, actually an expected win since it’s Slavia at home, but still worth praise because it’s always good to win.
My question is: barella should have been rested and so should’ve akanji… diouf should have got some minutes, if not now then when? I suspect inter realized they got kongdobia 2.0 maybe lol hopefully he can show he belongs here.
Let’s keep this momentum. I don’t expect us to be in semi final or win the league, just go far as possible with no pressure.
He actually did Kondogbia things on Torino games, let’s give him some more minutes to see what he got, maybe some Copa games.
back in winning way, forza forza
Good win, solid performance, and now 4 wins in a row… The Chivu era is getting underway!! FORZA INTER!!!
Finally seeing some chivu game plan!! well done inter. forza toro.
on a side note wtf is wrong with diouf?! this would have been the perfect match to get some minutes.
To all the haters that shit on my team and beppe i would like to say – go deep. How deep? Deeper!
There are pissed lol
Liverpool is losing to Galatasary and Tottenham are tied 2-2 agains Bodo/Glimt. If this was Inter or any other Serie A team, Okechukwu and a handful of others would be trashing Serie A. What’s funny is that these clowns, especially Okechukwu Okoro only show up when Inter loses.
Yup
That is a bot. Has been since the Fedenerazzura days.
funny dude
Thuram got injured again
Do we care. Pio and that lazy bonny are up for it…rather have davide running from the back though
Yes we care. And lazy Bonny?
You def a die hard fan.
lazy bonny? are u a joke?
please don’t say that Bonny is not a lazy player, what makes him a lazy player
susic is pure class
Needs to keep on working…some kid mistakes. We still love him though
I want to see Frattesi now
You got Darmian 😀
Lol I got the nationality right
Dont be mean
Not to criticise Chivu, who I am fully behind, but why bring on Barella?? He is desperate for rest, the game is over… there is no need to bring him on…. Diouf should get some minutes…..
Maybe Diouf is not there yet
Prolly bruh…chris knows best. Dont jump the gun. He’s the boss – let him boss around. 4 straight wins
Barella is the vice Hakan. He doesnt trust any other in that position. And i dont blame him tbh
I’d have stuck Akanji there, and given Barella the night off….
Hakan is still on…. Zielinski went off
Lmao i was just about to cmmt thst. Ignore my comment. He’s tripping still having both on
Hakan should have been the sub for barella. Him playing the whole 90 is ridiculous
maybe he wants him to settle well in training before giving him some minutes he don’t want fans to boo him
No Diouf or Frattesi..hmmm
Another basto Assist
Bring on the subs!!
thuram haters… ? where r u ?
If you’re asking if I still question his attitude, still wonder if he should be more clinical, and still think that he’ll eventually end up at Juventus, the answer is yes…..
you just ungrateful. the guy spita blood for us yet you question his attitude
When exactly did he spit blood for us? I’m not denying he’s a good player, but having a giggle fit as Juve score a late winner isn’t spitting blood….
he told his brother “just say you flouled and let them disallow the goal” then laughed.
stop the bullshit man… when did he spit blood? against barca last year he played with one leg.
The Barca performance was his 1 good display in the entire second half of last season…. He’s started this season well enough, but I’m sure he’ll be as patchy as ever…. Good player, but hardly a great….
do you carry the same opinion on lautis shitty start of last season? based on that does that make him a good player but not great?
point is players go through forms caused by momentum.
you are just overreacting on hating on thuram. hes a wonderdul player. not the most clinical but compensates with key passes that add to his tally of assists. as a ST, not all of the current great ones can actually provide half of thurams assists.
show some respect and stop being emotional
Show some respect for Tikus, imagine this team without him….
Okay….now time to bring in new blood
Acerbi the new bastoni
They’re ready to die to stop us LOL
Time to sub lauti and thuram.
If we can get a third I’d like to see Diouf on for Hakan and see what he’s got.
I wanna give zielinski a full 90 just to be sure.
I’d also like Bonny to get 30mins
But this inter doesn’t convince me even at 2-0
Stupid yellow from Bisseck. What is he thinking…
Let’s see diouf!!
Inter are cruising and are not rushing things. Next thing is not to concede and add another goal before giving other players some rest and a chance to those who don’t play often
Good half, completely dominant! Zielinski hasn’t really shown anything again, unfortunately- time to give Diouf half an hour? Pio and Bonny should get half an hour also- good opportunity to grab some goals for the new boys!!
I would like to see Frat boi on the score sheet
Comment section would have been a lot different if we were losing with many negative comments towards Chivu. There will be ups and downs to come but I believe in this project regardless. Great game so far… Forza Inter!! Forza Chivu!
spot on
That was a beautiful goal, great play from our boys, 3 moves !!!
All works great except Invisibielinski, guy can’t find his former self, had enough chances, give the new guys a chance please
zielinski should give way to Frattesi/Diouf after this poor display. can’t imagine them being poorer
I think this is the first time the complete chat here agrees for once, Zielinski out and whoever gets in 😀
beautiful goal!!
I am enjoying Chivu inter it’s beauty
Same here, i said from the start, give tha man some time and he will win UCL for us.
acerbi is an old man alright. but he could still make this sort of run upfield.
I don’t care if a player is 20, 30, or even 40. If a player can still produce things like what Acerbi just did, I don’t see a problem with playing him this season (his last season he’ll play for Inter).
Exactly. Everyone ages differently and our older players show they can still compete at the highest level.
Incredible defending and pushing forward by Acerbi and magnificent from Thuram beating his man and Dumfries securing one of the easiest goals he’ll ever score. Great display from these three on that play.
1 more snd the boys up top can rest.
leta go 2 up
Amazing play!! 2-0
Zeliensky isn’t adding much to our midfield
Comical, but we’ll take that!! Goooaaalll!!! Lautaro!!!
golazo
All that pressing finally paid off
Is it Christmas!!! GOOAL!!
I dont understand. Thuram looks really tired. Why not give him a rest? He played almost all the matches so far……
Games like this are when the likes of Hakan, DiMarco, Lautaro should shoot from 20 yards… box is waaaay too congested…
Is this going to be one of those games in which the opposing team parks the bus and Inter is not able to break through?
How long before bisseck runs off down the pitch and gives the ball away leading to a goal….
How long before you choke on this dick?
single-digit IQ comment
you ask for youngsters to play but when they do they are either raw or trash and that we should loan or sell. until when you gonna choose not to use ur brain? fkn hell man
^^
If he made mistakes, I can bear with it. But if he is not putting all his effort, then that is ridiculous. Asllani always made mistakes, no progress, but he is giving all he has.
with youngsters is all about potential and progress. no progress means out. bisseck lacks experience thats all. has emense potential. also notice most his mistakes come during games where we set a low block and invite pressure. but while we press I think he can be q strong defender
Well said. But that was not against what I said. My main point is Bisseck has the potential yes, but he is not giving 100% effort, and his occasionally laziness leads to his mistakes. Asllani no progress and he is out, I am not regretting that, just saying at least he is giving his all effort.
Bisseck is slower than Hakan…with fcking more than 10 years younger….
According to Inter website, Barella is rested… Zielinski starts….
It said Barella on UEFA then they changed it. Annoying. Sorry about that.
zielinski for Mkhi and sucic steps in for Barella in his natural position…no room for Frattesi
Quite surprised that Thuram wasn’t rested, and I’d have been tempted to give Henrique another start, to try and find some rhythm…. Also wondering when Barella is ever gonna get a break, if not in games like this…. Hopefully we can get a nice lead early on, and make changes nice and early…. Big game for Bisseck tonight- needs to show he’s still valuable to the squad! In Chivu we trust…. FORZA INTER!!
They will probably get rested against cremonese I guess
Against this opposition nearly any healthy lineup should be victorious.
