Inter Milan’s third straight Serie A victory under Cristian Chivu came with another dominant performance against Cremonese and, according to Alberto Polverosi, the coach has Piero Ausilio to thank for it.
Writing in Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, Polverosi praised Inter’s “imposing, monstrous, even exaggerated” display against Cremonese.
The Nerazzurri won 4-1, with Ange-Yoan Bonny recording three assists and a goal on his first start for Inter.
The Frenchman followed Chivu in leaving Parma for Lombardy in the summer and rewarded his coach’s faith in him.
However, it was not just Bonny, the whole team seemed to have taken it up a level.
The journalist called it “a total form of domination – technical, tactical, and physical.” But he singled out the club’s revamped attack as the key difference from last season.
Inter Coach Chivu ‘Must Thank Ausilio’ After Cremonese Rout

“In this case, Chivu must thank Ausilio,” Polverosi noted.
“The two new forwards, Bonny and Pio Esposito, have made the attack much stronger and more complete. Lautaro no longer has to exhaust himself linking midfield and attack – a role he did well, but one that took him too far from goal.”
The journalist highlighted how the changes have sharpened the captain’s edge.
“Last year after seven matches, Lautaro had three goals. Now he already has five. With Bonny, Thuram, and Esposito, Chivu can rotate freely.
“Whichever pairing he chooses, there are no weak spots. A team like this frightens the entire league.”

ya monstrous planning for us diouf instead of lookman..
Let’s open the champanes when the season ends. Right now wer’e 12 points 3 behind the rest and those wins came against weak opponnents.. we all saw the Juve game.
We all saw Juventus game, we dominated, but conceaded unhappily, but wasn’t a bad performance.
I kinda agree with you, but unfortunately we played great game against juve. it was the very first time inter played without regista who stayed back most of the time so the defense was a bit shaky. it’s similar against barca, rube was one man army led by yildiz. under inzaghi and conte, inter also rarely dominated against top clubs. the focus shouldn’t be the way inter played against rube, but udinese. they shut down inter like what psg did to inter
He was being criticized not too long ago and now he’s being praised. The way results changes the perception of someone in Italy is astounding. Italy and Serie A fans alike is results driven and not patient enough to trust any process. Ausilio has been almost flawless when it comes to scouting new talent for Inter and this hasn’t changed.
Not just Italy, but all football. Fans are so fickle and just look at numbers without actually watching games, etc.
I’m still at the point he needs to do better or just leave. he brought in so many players, but how many stay so far? also how much we cashed in from those players? it was marotta who did great job and those he brought mostly are still in starting eleven for years now. bonny wasn’t cheap as a player who played for small club and unheard of or people already forget his price tag? we failed to sign lookman, brought in luis henrique and diouf for big money. what should we be thanking for?
Bonny, Luiz Henrique, and Diouf all cost around $23-25M each. I don’t know about you, but that’s not “Big Money”. Lookman would’ve been Big Money; he would’ve probably costed as much as all of these players combined. We thought he was going to cost around $55M considering Atalanta’s positon, but they didn’t mind losing him for free next summer. In reality, Lookman is worth at least $70M
