Napoli have been dealt a double injury setback just a week before their crucial Serie A clash with Inter Milan at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona with Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund set to miss this weekend’s match against Torino.
As reported by DAZN, via FCInterNews, both McTominay and Hojlund were late withdrawals from the squad to face Torino.
Therefore, this leaves coach Antonio Conte without two key players in midfield and attack.
McTominay suffered a bruised left ankle, while Hojlund is dealing with muscular fatigue in his left thigh.
Both injuries are described as minor, but their conditions will be closely monitored over the coming days.
Napoli Face McTominay And Hojlund Wait Ahead Of Inter

The timing, however, is far from ideal for Napoli.
Conte’s side face PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League during midweek before hosting Inter in what promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the Serie A calendar.
Inter are flying high under Cristian Chivu and are chasing a sixth consecutive league victory against Roma on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Napoli will be desperate to recover both players in time for next weekend’s showdown in Naples.
Should Hojlund or McTominay fail to make it, Conte may be forced to reshuffle his setup against his former club.

Aww poor Napooli, baby don’t like play twice a week.
it’s a bit different when you don’t have a week between games ain’t it Conte….!!
now you felt it
