The 1-0 victory over Roma not only lifted Inter Milan level at the top of the Serie A table – it also added a historic chapter to the club’s rivalry with the Giallorossi.

According to Opta, Inter are now the first team in Serie A history to win five consecutive away matches against Roma, with an aggregate scoreline of 11–2 in those fixtures at the Stadio Olimpico.

A remarkable streak, and one that reflects the Nerazzurri’s growing authority under Cristian Chivu.
