France boss Didier Deschamps sent scouts to observe Inter Milan striker Ange-Yoan Bonny during Saturday’s 1-0 win over Roma.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 21-year-old made a telling impression at the Stadio Olimpico.
No Inter Milan player has been off to a better start at San Siro since the 2003/04 season than Ange-Yoan Bonny.
Indeed, the Frenchman has netted three goals and added three assists in the opening seven Serie A rounds.
Therefore, he has already caught Deschamps’ attention.

Bonny has already equaled the joint goal tally of Joaquin Correa and Mehdi Taremi from last season.
Indeed, the former Parma striker has thrived in the absence of Inter Milan superstar Marcus Thuram.
Sidelined with a thigh injury, the 28-year-old handed Bonny the opportunity to cement his place in the starting lineup.
And the young star has embraced the chance with his open arms.
With Bonny impressing France’s scouts on Saturday, it’s reasonable to expect him to make the cut in November.

I admit i was sceptic for bringing Bonny, bit he’s been brilliant so far, hopefully continues like this. Right now i would’ve picked him before Thuram for starting place, much more passionate, more aggressive in attack than him, pure bully in front of opposing players. By the end of the season Bonny will push him out completely out of starting 11, and Chivu will also give Pio more minutes as time passes, so Thuram will be sold next summer, which is also good for us, brought for free, will be sold for 60+ mil with 2 years till contract expires. I would like a young Brazilian as substitute for him who can also play as AM, Endrick or Vitor Roque.
He is 100% serious tgan Thuram
