Roma and Inter Milan served up a tense Serie A clash on Saturday, culminating in emotional scenes at the final whistle.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, a hug between Cristian Chivu and Nicolo Barella perfectly captured the renewed spirit within the squad.
Last season’s runner-ups claimed another precious victory this weekend, beating Roma 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.
Furthermore, Ange-Yoan Bonny continued his scintillating form with an early winner.
Indeed, the Frenchman has now scored three goals and added three assists in his first seven league appearances for Inter.
Emotional Scenes After Roma 0-1 Inter Milan Capture Renewed Hope

Despite finding an early breakthrough, Inter had to survive a late scare to take home three points.
However, there was a palpable sense of relief after referee Davide Massa blew the final whistle.
Overwhelmed by emotions, Barella embraced Cristian Chivu in wild post-match celebrations.
Barella’s action, shortly after being subbed off, highlighted the strong bond between coach and players.
Furthermore, these emotional scenes at the Olimpico symbolized the dawn of a new era at San Siro.

true talk Andy , the hype from d media n coaches is getting absurd
I dont like this much hype around Chivu like he is our saviour or smt. He is doing really great, but few bad games and 90% will already want his head on a spike. I just want him and the players especially young ones like Pio Bonny and Sucic to stay firm on the ground and improve on a daily basis. If we finish Top 3 it will be a good season, but this hype now to be winners will put him in too much pressure.
Nah Andy. The aim is the scudetto. Inter is the best equiped team in Italy. Anything other than being champions will be bad. I always support my team and i dont wanna sound crazy, but the reality is that we have the best team. And a solid bench. Tell me another team that can affort to have steffan or davide on the bench. With players like petar, pio, bonny…they can play some cards on the bench while they wait. But once they come, they leave a mark.
While I disagree that anything other than being champions would be bad, I agree that the aim should be to win the Scudetto as we clearly have the best team in Italy. I see as our rivals Milan, as they don’t have European football to spend energy on.
In any case, I would not be satisfied with just a top 4 spot. The coach is new, but the team is strong.
Napoli has a better squad in my oppinion. They have better subs almost on every position, while we have good reserves in Josep, De Vrij, Augusto, Sucic, Pio and Bonny. Plus they have a winning mentality with a perfectionist coach winner like Conte. Even Marotta knows we are not favorites, and we shouldnt even pretend that we are.
Dont agree. Gilmor? Luca? Noah? Or the defenders? Who is better than the inter players. Plus the slovak and anguisa are instrumental for them. One will be sidelined half of the season, the other will be missing in january. Inter all the way andy.
How many starters did Napoli signed? Savic, Beukema, De Bruyne and Hojlund. Besides them look what players they have on the bench Lukaku, Lucca, Lang, Gilmour, Gutierrez, Rrahmani, Meret. I get it what you say about the injured ones, but this is Contes style, same as we had with Pintus when he was our Fitness Coach. How many starters did we buy? Thats right buddy, 0! Only Bonny gives a hint till now that he could eventually be a starter. On each position they have a good replacement, we havent. There is not a single midlefielder besides Sucic who can replace Calha, Barella or Mkhi. While they have Anguissa, Lobotka, Gilmour, all 3 are very good DM’s. De Bruyne, McTominay i dont even need to mention.
This is for Andy, not for you Niko.
Hojlund is only playing because Lukaku is injured. He was brought in as a replacement. Beukema is a good player, but nothing out of this world. Savic is a great goalkeeper and De Bruyne is one of the greatest midfielders of the PL in the past 10 years.
Still, Inter has a better squad. You forgot to mention Akanji by the way. We have brought in three players that are starting material (Bonny, Akanji, Sucic), and we have way more depth this year compared to last. You forget to mention that the team remains nearly the same as last season but we have better substitutions now (except for defense where only De Vrij can cover for Acerbi). Also, Napoli are playing in the CL this season. Inter played almost 20 more games compared to Napoli last season and they managed to win Scudetto by one point only. Napoli has already dropped points in both Serie A and CL. Napoli is a great squad, but I think you’re underrating Inter and overrating Napoli a bit here.
