Inter Milan star Ange-Yoan Bonny has emerged as the frontrunner to spearhead the attack in Saturday’s Serie A match against Napoli.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, several first-team regulars will also regain their starting spots at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Cristian Chivu rested some key players in Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Royale Union SG.

Indeed, Federico Dimarco, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Nicolo Barella, and Manuel Akanji started on the bench at Lotto Park.

However, they’re expected to return to the starting lineup this weekend.

Francesco Pio Esposito got the nod in attack ahead of Bonny, seizing the opportunity with his first-ever Champions League goal.

Yet, the 20-year-old will likely drop to the bench on Saturday, with the French starlet expected to partner up with Lautaro Martinez.

Indeed, Bonny has been in scintillating form at the beginning of the new Serie A season.

In addition to scoring three goals, including a match-winner against Roma, he has added three assists.

Therefore, Chivu’s decision to bring him back to his starting XI is barely surprising.
