Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan suffered a thigh injury during Saturday’s Serie A away defeat to Napoli.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 36-year-old could be on the sidelines until the beginning of December.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan conceded a penalty that allowed Napoli to open the scoring, with the contact on Giovanni Di Lorenzo clearly avoidable.
However, it’s worth noting that Maurizio Mariani made a wrong decision, awarding a ‘soft’ spot-kick to the Partenopei.
Furthermore, the Armenian veteran injured himself in the process.

Cristian Chivu had to take the former Roma star off immediately after the incident.
Indeed, Piotr Zielinski took his place in the 32nd minute but struggled to impress against his former club.
Meanwhile, Mkhitaryan could spend up to six weeks in the treatment room.
At best, Inter can hope to have him back for the upcoming Champions League trip to Spain to face Atletico Madrid on November 26.
However, he may not return to the field until early December.
