Controversial decisions by Simone Sozza and his VAR team dominated headlines after Inter Milan thumped Fiorentina 3-0 last night.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, Sozza and his associates put on a horror show at San Siro.
Inter Milan demolished Fiorentina in a one-sided affair, yet the scoreline could have been more emphatic.
Indeed, had it not been for Sozza’s oversight, the Nerazzurri would have been awarded two clear penalties.
However, Sozza’s scandalous calls prevented Cristian Chivu’s side from extending their lead even further.
Simone Sozza & VAR Team Falters in Inter Milan 3-0 Fiorentina

Inter were struggling to find the opening goal despite outplaying Fiorentina in the first half.
Yet, Simone Sozza denied the Nerazzurri a textbook penalty around the half-hour mark, refusing to sanction Pietro Comuzzo’s clear foul.
Indeed, the Fiorentina defender dragged Francesco Pio Esposito to the ground without attempting to play the ball.
Then, the same player wrestled the Italian starlet to the ground at the start of the second half.
Despite VAR’s lengthy review, Davide Ghersini felt no urge to call Sozza to check the incident on the side-pitch monitor.
Luckily, Inter didn’t pay the price this time.

This is getting out of hand ,as u may all know apart from players mistake last season it was the referees who gave the league to Napoli
