Cristian Chivu is taking a patient, calculated approach to the development of Luis Henrique and Andy Diouf, two summer arrivals who have yet to establish themselves in his Inter Milan side.

Both players have struggled for minutes so far, with the Brazilian winger starting only once, away at Cagliari.

Meanwhile, Diouf has played just 25 minutes across brief cameos against Torino and Cremonese.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Chivu remains convinced of their potential but wants to integrate them gradually and with caution.

The Romanian coach sees Luis Henrique as an outlet capable of adding pace and unpredictability on the flanks.

Meanwhile Diouf’s physical presence and box-to-box energy can complement the midfield.

For now, the focus remains on continuity.

Akanji, Sucic, and attacking duo Ange-Yoan Bonny and Francesco Pio Esposito have already cemented their places.

Therefore, leaving Luis Henrique and Diouf as the two remaining projects from Inter’s summer reinforcements.

Chivu’s measured handling suggests both will be given time to adapt, with the expectation they will become reliable contributors in the months ahead.
