Inter Milan stars Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco have thrived under Cristian Chivu in the early stages of the 2025/26 campaign.

Cristian Chivu has turned Inter’s fortunes around since taking over from Simone Inzaghi in the summer.
Indeed, the 45-year-old has renewed optimism at San Siro, guiding the Nerazzurri to the top of the Champions League and Serie A standings.

In addition to improving the team’s overall performances, Chivu has bolstered Bastoni and Dimarco’s confidence.
The former made his fourth assist of the season in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Lazio, setting up Lautaro Martinez for the opening goal.
Meanwhile, Dimarco teed up Ange-Yoan Bonny for Inter’s second, maintaining his sublime form at the beginning of the season.
Indeed, the Italian wingback has now racked up four assists in Serie A.
Furthermore, the 28-year-old has also scored two league goals, announcing his return to form after a lengthy period of stagnation.
