Manuel Akanji and Hakan Calhanoglu will be among the last Inter Milan players to return home from the international break.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the star duo will not be back at Appiano Gentile before Wednesday.

With the Milan derby on the horizon, Cristian Chivu is desperate to avoid further injury setbacks.

Indeed, the San Siro giants have just welcomed Marcus Thuram back from a lengthy spell on the sidelines. 

Therefore, France boss Didier Deschamps has left the 28-year-old out of his squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
