Lautaro Martinez will be among the first Inter Milan stars to return to Appiano Gentile from the international break.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, El Toro is expected to resume training on Tuesday afternoon.

For once, Lautaro Martinez will not be the last Nerazzurri player to rejoin the squad after international duty.

Indeed, with Argentina facing Angola on Friday, the 28-year-old looks set to be in Italy by the end of the weekend.  

However, Cristian Chivu will give his talisman much-needed rest on Monday.

Despite being forced to take a vaccine, Lautaro has refused to let head coach Lionel Scaloni down.

Indeed, it was a necessary measure to enter Angola, which, however, depleted Scaloni’s squad.

Diego Simeone has pulled three Atletico Madrid players out of the Argentina squad.

Therefore, Giuliano Simeone, Julian Alvarez, and Nahuel Molina have already left the national team.

In stark contrast, Lautaro has remained loyal to La Albiceleste and will feature against Angola on Friday.
