Struggling Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly entered the race to sign Inter Milan outcast Davide Frattesi.

According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, the Turin heavyweights are ready to challenge Roma and Lazio for Frattesi’s signature.

The 26-year-old’s future at San Siro is hanging by a thread.

Indeed, after failing to secure regular first-team football under Cristian Chivu, the former Sassuolo midfielder could leave Inter.

Furthermore, Davide Frattesi has reportedly grown frustrated with his status at Giuseppe Meazza.

Inter Milan turned down Roma’s attempt to re-sign Frattesi last winter.

Then, they also snubbed Atletico Madrid’s approach in the summer, largely thanks to Chivu.

However, after nailing Frattesi to the bench this season, the 45-year-old may not stand in the player’s way.

Still, Inter have not lowered their substantial €40 million valuation of the Italian midfielder.

While that could deter Lazio from concretizing their interest, it’s unlikely to fend off Juventus.

Moreover, Luciano Spalletti is a big-time admirer of Frattesi and could offer him an escape route from San Siro in January.
