Inter Milan will wrap up their week of training today before enjoying a short break, with the players set to return to Appiano Gentile on Tuesday ahead of preparations for the Milan derby, as captain Lautaro Martinez returns early from duty with Argentina.
A core group of players has continued working under Cristian Chivu during the international window.
This included Yann Sommer, Juan Martinez, Francesco Acerbi, Yann Bisseck, Stefan de Vrij, Carlos Augusto, Luis Henrique, Diouf, Bonny and Marcus Thuram.
Therefore, it was a larger contingent than usual at this stage of the break.
Inter Milan Captain Lautaro Returns From Argentina Early

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter’s Italian internationals will rejoin the squad on Tuesday following their World Cup qualifiers.
Lautaro Martinez, who features today in Argentina’s friendly against Angola, will return soon.
Unlike previous breaks, Lautaro’s schedule and shorter travel distance mean he’ll return earlier than usual.
Therefore, giving Chivu more time to integrate him back into training.
Denzel Dumfries, Petar Sucic and Piotr Zielinski are expected back by Wednesday.
Meanwhile Manuel Akanji and Hakan Calhanoglu will complete the group on Thursday.
Therefore, ensuring a full squad for derby preparations.
