Inter Milan have reportedly added Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi to their list of targets ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Il Messaggero via FCInter1908, the Frenchman has emerged as Inter’s latest target to boost their midfield options.
Nicolo Rovella was on Inter’s shortlist in the summer amid wild speculation surrounding the future of Hakan Calhanoglu.
However, the Nerazzurri refused to approach Lazio over the Italian star after fending off Galatasaray and Fenerbahce’s interest in the Turkish playmaker.
Inter Milan Keen on Lazio Stalwart Matteo Guendouzi

In addition to Rovella, Inter have been keeping close tabs on Mario Gila, who may be on his way out of the Stadio Olimpico.
Yet, the San Siro giants reportedly won’t try to sign a new center-back in January, prioritizing a move for a midfielder instead.
Therefore, Guendouzi could be an option for Cristian Chivu’s side, though he won’t come cheap.
Indeed, Lazio have slapped a €25 million asking price on the Frenchman, who is no longer non-transferrable.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also interested in the former Marseille star.

worse than frattesi
Give us Gila – Rovella, and we give them Frattesi
Why him, he isn’t even one of 5 best players in Lazio? What kind of reinforcement would he be anyways? From Lazio the only players worth signing for us are Gila and Rovella (good player, but not worth asking price of 50 mil).
