Inter, Milan and Juventus are among the clubs chasing Verona starlet Giovane, who has quickly become one of the most talked-about names on the Italian transfer market.
The young forward arrived on a free transfer in the summer and has already shown the kind of qualities that have alerted several top sides across Serie A.
Tuttosport highlights his rapid rise, calling him “yet another winning intuition” from Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano, who secured him “for free from Corinthians in July.”
The report notes that “with hindsight, it was a major coup,” as the striker is already valued at around €15 million and has attracted interest from all the league’s top clubs.

The paper adds that Raffaele Palladino, who wanted the player at Fiorentina last January, could now request him for Atalanta.
Roma and Juventus have also “activated their radar” and begun studying the player closely.

Definitely not needed right now. I’ve said it earlier, bring Tomiyasu as short-term solution on free transfer. We are in dire need an extra player in defense. Henrique almost surely crossed out as long-term solution on right side, Dumfries injured. Augusto is covering 3 positions, Darmian old and slow as wingback, not good option as right cb. Dimarco good, Basto shaky last couple of games, but still our best defender. Acerbi and De Vrij against faster strikers completely useless. Akanji ok on right side, not brilliant, just average. Bisseck horrible on right side, but solid showing in the centre.
I know Tomiyasu hasn’t played much in Arsenal because of injuries and huge competition, but for us would be golden short-term solution, because he can cover every position in defense.
