Inter Milan have confirmed their starting lineup for today’s Serie A trip to Pisa, with Cristian Chivu turning to Luis Henrique on the right flank in the continued absence of Denzel Dumfries.
The match kicks off at 14:00 GMT (15:00 Local Time) in Pisa.
The Nerazzurri arrive in Tuscany needing three points after setbacks against Milan and Atletico Madrid.
Pisa are unbeaten in six and represent a difficult hurdle, while yesterday’s results for Milan and Juventus only increase the pressure on Inter to respond.
Pisa Vs Inter – Mkhitaryan Returns But Bonny Misses Out

Chivu regains Henrikh Mkhitaryan but loses Ange-Yoan Bonny to illness, depriving Inter of their most in-form striker.
The coach is expected to restore several key players to the XI, with Francesco Acerbi, Petar Sucic and Marcus Thuram all set to return from the start.
Mkhitaryan has been out for around a month, whilst Thuram has only recently returned from an injury that saw him sidelined for five weeks.
Therefore, these players returning to fitness and availability is a significant boost for Chivu.
Chivu Hands Luis Henrique Golden Opportunity In Dumfries Absence

The main talking point comes on the right flank, where Luis Henrique is in line to start ahead of Carlos Augusto.
With Dumfries and Darmian both unavailable, the Brazilian offers pace and directness in a role that has caused Inter problems in recent matches.
Federico Dimarco keeps his place on the left, while Calhanoglu anchors a midfield completed by Barella and Sucic.
At the back, Chivu leans on experience with Acerbi between Akanji and Bastoni, though Yann Bisseck remains an option after his strong Champions League showing.
Lautaro Martinez again leads the line alongside Thuram as Inter push for a vital away victory.

Important points
Henrique should be loaned.
Sucic does not have confidence and is average.
Diouf should be given more chances.
Game was horrid before the subs. Glad subs made the difference. All credit to pio for the first goal. Don’t know what’s going on with Sucic… he started off great but has been dull. Maybe he’s better on the left hand side than the right. Diouf i thought was actually pretty good and he played a part in the second goal. Hopefully in the cup we’ll see more of the new signings and if they weren’t a waste of money.
All right. Forza Inter brother. It wasnt easy. But nothing is these days
Susic is way too passive especially in attack he seems he doesn’t want to be depended when it comes to goal scoring and creation. Just super PASSIVE making a match that’s slow even feels even slower
Of course everyone will attack me. Glad inter won but it is against pisa not against ac milan who will sadly win everythting
I’m afraid Allegri will start the circle of scudetti like he did with Juventus.
Not a chance
Modern football every win Milan by thread while having all the luck on their side. Weaker teams are also happy to sit back and hope for a draw that’s why they’ll drop points. Also all the talk about beating or not beating top teams everyone is still within reach which means before the second match weaker teams will become the deciding factor
Yeah we gotta win against big teams too.
the first time i agree with u. although you are a racist piece of shyt
milan continue to be lucky.. we hit the post twice in d first half and then a penalty miss.. the outcome could be very different had bilan not been lucky. luck will take them only so much, bound to end. we just need to focus on our team, and our improvement. bilan will drop points against lesser teams due to lack of motivation.. so don’t worry.
Good win and much improved half after subs.
Maybe try Diouf as RWB as I saw some good moves from him there.
Also Zielinski should be ahead of Susic in pecking order.
Agree. Him as RWB or barella. He needs to play more. (diouf)
Zielinksi didn’t do much when he got subbed on tho. Both really didn’t do much
the F are u talking about. zielinski was key protagonist on d second goal? anyone else including chala or barella would have gone back on the right wing after being crowded by 3 players, zielinski with his wise feints left three pisa players for dead and put it in for barella’s assist. give credit where it is deserved.
I could not watch the game. How did Diouf play? From comments below I guess Henrique disappointed again.
He was okay, didn’t get to show much imo. Just few touches here and there. But he did okay.. Just okay.
Good. As long as he does not give the ball away he will get more opportunities to integrate with the team.
I can see why we want Toure, He is what we thought Diouf would be and wanted in Kone but cant afford.
Good win with clean sheet.
I’m so happy guys. Feels like forever the last time we won a game. Hope we will turn this around and win the upcoming games. Forza inter
What great subs Chivu made, first Pio with assisst for Lautaro then Zielinski, Diouf, Barella, Toro goal !
Really nice plays. What I am happy about is, our newcommers this season proving game after game they are no flops ^_^
Chalhanoglu on the other side invisible and poor Acherbi running afyer those fast and stromg guys from Pisa 😀
Seems to me Diouf is more of a Winger/attacking midfielder than a DM
It’s the coach’s job to figure it out..
Who did say that Diouf is a DM?
It says so on sofascore app, and I think it’s same in transfermarkt..
Apparently Lens used him as DM, AM and CM last season. Strange because it is so obvious his skills are toward attack, not defense.
Well, Andrea Pirlo’s position was an enigma until Ancelotti.. Like I said earlier, it’s the coach’s job to figure out his players’ ideal position…
Inter lost out on Sebastiano… That guy is sharp, has good work rate and killer instinct… That should have been 3 nil Pio..
Dude you dont even like Serie A so i know your not watching Sebastiano. Pio has more goal contributions than Seba and Why doesnt Seba play for Italy if he’s so great? You just love complaining,
That’s your opinion… Thanks for making a statement…
You called the league weak dude, everything i said was a fact and you know it. Your not watching a relegation level side in a league you think is weak. Stop pretending dude. If you did watch the league, you wouldnt be crying for a player with only 3 goals in 12 starts.
The league is weak.. Whether you’d admit it or not… Facts don’t lie..
Sebastiano is mid table level player.
Maybe.. Same with many players in inter, and the so called serie a giants… Same with Salah until Liverpool…
Dude, Salah was praised from the moment he started playing for Fiorentina. What are you talking about?
Well true, but there are many mid table players until they are signed by bigger teams.. The onus is on the so called bigger teams to do proper scouting and the coaches to have the guts to use the supposedly unknown players, or raise them to greatness… The last time I checked, that’s a coach’s job… I still maintain my point of view, however unpopular it may seem… I’d pick Sebastiano over Pio, at least as it stands presently…
thats ur opinion which add little to no value to the conversation
Okay FEZ
Just lossen up on the CAPSLOCK oke. Oke?
2-0 inter
El Toro!!! Cool assist from Barella.
Zielinski was the difference maker in this match it goes to show just how PASSIVE Susic overall play has been so far.
And this is why you don’t sub Lautaro
Game set match. Great build up goal there
GOOOOOL TOROOO!!
Diouf playing rwb lol
Zeliensky has been an absolute joy to watch these recent games
Oh no. Pls. Not his name.
give him credit when it’s do
he’s been class the past 3 games
nothing like the passing back merchant lol
What? Zielinksi for most of his inter career has been a back pass merchant. i will give him credit and say his past few games he has been good, but he still isn’t great.
We need to score 2nd goal I don’t feel comfortable with 1 – 0. If we don’t score the 2nd we will draw. Forza inter let’s do the 2nd goal ASAP!!!
First goal conceded at home since september? That is a crazy stat lol
They spent a fortune on such a weak player as L. Henrique. Not to mention Diouf, who barely plays and was only there to overshadow the failure of signing Lookman. It’s hard to understand these latest signings by Marotta.
Not signing Lookman was the fault of Atalanta not Inter. There’s a reason No other team could get lookman either. Atalanta were being unreasonable.
You must be kidding. Inter offered only 45 mln for a player like Lookman.
Yea On the final year of his contract, AND he requested a transfer. That was the highest bid Atalanta recieved all summer, Other big teams abroad like Bayern only offered 25m. There’s a reason he’s still on Atalanta, They over played their hand.
Exactly!!! Explain to them that his pofile is something that we needed yes. But overpaying wasnt the right choice back then.
Also, just checked his market value on Transfermarkt, it is 40m. We gave a very fair offer for a player asking to leave in the final year of his contract.
His contract expires in 2027, not in 2026. Quality players are almost always sold for more than their Transfermarkt value. Not to mention that in the summer when we offered 45 mln, his Tranfermarkt value was 60 mln.
Yeah what a waste of money, it’s like he just want to sign anybody so that ppl will not complain lol
El Toro!!! Cool assist from Pio.
Thuram wasn’t good with too much holding the ball Poi gives a simple powerful pass and Inter scores
Goooooool toroooo
FINALLY LAUTI!!!
Yesss diouf in let’s see him scoring a goaaal
So weird everyone can see we’re over passing but the players and Manager.
Inter are playing so deep and still get countered by long balls. This is a bit ridiculous. Chivu is letting the narrative of the team playing too pretty. We need to keep the aggression in all departments.
Hurts to see acerbi like this..
There’s a time to let it go my friend. Unfortunately we have coaches who don’t understand that
We are going to regret not signing Lookman for being Lowball
this game has been so painful. I couldn’t get myself to enjoy Lautaro goal 🙂
Without dribbling players we will get weaker and weaker every season.
Hope we can atleast score 2 goals 2nd half. Otherwise we would have to fight for 5th place.
If we want top 4 we must win this match.
Maybe CHivu wants a draw to prove to everyone he can also get one… He nealy did it against Atletico Madrid but someone needs to tell him it’s Pisa who are in relegation zone
The Chivu boy Niko thinking Inter’s going to smash Pisa 0-3 second half lollll
0-2…
Not that far off.
something is off after international break (always like that). want to enroll as the coach whose main task is getting the players’ concentration and focus. that aspect always be bad, and becomes worse
21st Century we are watching soccer where public seat and stand on cement. It looks like Italian leaders are not watching those game.
Inter are feeling sorry for the themselves and are just hoping Pisa just let them score an easy goal. Everything is just very slow and when in dangerous positions just pass after pass until the ball is lost
And you guys telling me a Team with INTER caliber can’t even beat Pisa first half of the game?? Give me a break
Pisa is eating our press
SImply because there isn’t a press just let me try to get the ball and see what happens there’s no intent whatsoever. This match needs Frattessi someone from midfield who won’t think twice before running inside the opposition box none of Barella, Hakan or especially Sucic can do it.
yes frattesi who can’t even keep the ball at his feet will somehow change something.
I dont know but it seems like some of the players are trying to get the coach sacked. Pay close attention to movement and decisions.
I love my team, but are not creating anything. What is happening??? Why the 9375748363 passes and crosses. Come on boys. Come on Inter. More direct pls.
Zero technique, zero intensity, zero zeal… Just experience….
If we can’t beat Pissa we are not worthy to be anywhere the top table. And according to what I am seeing right now we are struggling
Does that rule only apply to us or Milan as well?
Enough with the big words. Gen z. Keep calm brother
Gen Z?? Are you kidding me? Well I hope you don’t comeback after the game bashing people if we end up drawing or losing this game. We all hope for a win here.
Guy is a clown all he does Is bash people for criticizing this team. It’s like you can’t be upset even if we lose. Hey Niko screw you.
Tariq…watch your mouth. I dont want to talk to you morron
We all want a win. So control your energy. Tariq – no one cares for you
Yet you replied to me, clown. Ofcurse you care.
Well this is a great response to two losses so far
♂️
Wanted to watch Akinsanmiro to bad he’s hurt
Inter had Stankovic and opted to sell him and get Diouf…. Laughable…
Crying does not solves anything. Complaining does not help. As much as you would like to speak to the manager – give me ideas.
Weak league… All I can do is hope that one day the so called bigger serie a teams and even the so called smaller teams wake up… Teams like Como give me hope…
Then find another league to watch. You dont have to watch this league.
we shouldn’t have lost any point for this kind of match!
We wount. Chivu will wreck them at half time. 3-0 for Inter
half time and 0-0 dude…
Exactly my point. He will wreck them at half time
Forza Inter!
Forza Inter brother. So tired of all the pseudo fans here just dissing my team
