Andy Diouf highlighted both his ambition and his progress under Cristian Chivu after Inter’s 2–0 victory away to Pisa.
The Frenchman spoke to DAZN shortly after full time at the Arena Garibaldi, with quotes via FCInterNews.
The midfielder came off the bench and immediately injected energy into the Nerazzurri display as Lautaro Martinez’s brace secured the points.
Pisa 0-2 Inter – Diouf Aiming For More Minutes Under Chivu

Diouf admitted he is pleased with the rhythm he is finding this season but made it clear that his target is to continue earning more minutes.
“I’m happy because I’m playing a lot and increasing my minutes, even if I always want to play more,” he said.
“I’m really happy, I have to keep pushing. Chivu helps me a lot and talks to me a lot to help me improve.”
The Frenchman also underlined that his integration into the squad has accelerated after a difficult start.
He joined Inter late in the summer and needed time to build fitness and familiarity with Chivu’s system.
Looking ahead to the rest of the campaign, Diouf kept his goals measured but firm. “Step by step, I want to play more and more,” he added.
“At the beginning it wasn’t easy because I didn’t do pre-season with the team, but now I’m finding more and more space.”
Inter’s midfield depth has been a storyline all season, and Diouf’s continued growth offers Chivu another valuable option as the fixtures intensify.

He’s far more confident than Henrique and the guy seems to naturally drifts on the right while holding the ball so Inter don’t need to rush with a cross or difficult pass when Inter can overload opponents when he has the ball in that position.
Honestly glad that he’s getting more confidence and minutes. The first game he played showed lots of promise and hope he does well! Barella needs rest and we do need to rotate the midfield a bit cause Bare-Chala-Mhiki aren’t cutting it anymore and gets predictable. Frattesi I lost hope with unfortunately…
Barella needs to rest and give this boy a chance.. enough with Frattesi
enough with Frattesi. i do agree
He’s looked decent and not made any glaring errors in his last two outings, hopefully he finds some form and becomes useful.
Well, it will be interesting to see how it develops. A lot of selfmade “experts” on this forum has, and still? calls him worthless and so fort. Fotboll like any other sport is a lot about psykology and adaptation to a new environment, sometimes it´s good to have some patience. Looks to me that Chivu is good in that respect.
