Inter Milan’s summer transfer plans are already beginning to take shape, with Club Brugge midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic emerging as a serious contender to become one of the club’s first signings for next season.

The midfielder left on an initially debated sale with a buy-back option, but his form at Club Brugge has rapidly turned that decision into a potential strategic win.

In his editorial for Sportitalia, transfer expert Gianluigi Longari reviewed Inter’s recent market activity and highlighted the prospects who could shape the club’s future.

He praised several of the Nerazzurri’s new faces, noting the “very encouraging signs from Bonny, a player with continuous and potentially enormous room for growth,” along with the “surprising maturity of Pio Esposito,” who has rewarded the club’s trust with energetic and reliable performances.

Longari also pointed to the impact of Petar Sucic, who “has everything to become the new Brozovic or Kovacic among the top picks from the Croatian market.”

Furthermore, he also complimented the defensive stability added by Manuel Akanji.

However, one of the most striking developments concerns Stankovic.

The 2005-born midfielder has quickly won over the Brugge supporters thanks to his consistency and personality, thriving in a team renowned for developing young European talent.

His standout performance against Barcelona further accelerated the sense that Inter may need to act quickly to secure his return.

According to Longari, “Stankovic is destined, in all probability, to be one of the first new signings of next season,” with Inter now planning to exercise their option if his trajectory continues.
