Juventus have made an early approach for Davide Frattesi as the Italy midfielder grows increasingly marginalised at Inter Milan.
According to Tuttosport, Frattesi has slipped down the midfield hierarchy under Cristian Chivu, despite being convinced by the coach to stay last summer.
Ironically, he featured more regularly under Simone Inzaghi, a situation that has left the former Sassuolo man reconsidering his future.
Frattesi has already turned down interest from the Premier League, with Newcastle and Nottingham Forest among the clubs to enquire in recent months.
However, he now finds himself behind Petar Sucic and Piotr Zielinski in Chivu’s plans.
Juventus Make Contact With Frattesi As Inter Milan Put Talks On Hold

Inter’s proposal to extend his contract until 2030 is currently on hold, prompting his agent Beppe Riso to reopen discussions with Juventus.
The Bianconeri see Frattesi as a strong fit for Luciano Spalletti’s evolving system.
Particularly if the switch to a 4-2-3-1, trialled recently against Pafos, becomes permanent.
His athleticism, timing of runs and ability to attack space could suit that shape, making him an appealing option for their midfield rebuild.
Riso visited Juventus’ headquarters at the Continassa in recent days.
In what was officially described as a courtesy meeting.
Even so, the encounter is being interpreted as a potential first contact. Frattesi is open to the idea of joining Juventus.
However the major obstacle remains Inter’s valuation.
The Nerazzurri have never entertained offers below €35 million.
Indeed, a steep figure for a player who is not central to the current project.

Smart move for Juve. He should be starting for us Inter smh. He’s the only big game clutch player we have but god forbid they actually give him a starting role. Stupid on chivu. Clearly we can’t beat any big teams with guys like Sucic and mhiki playing
Inter should take advantage of Juve’s interest in Fratessi and do a straight up swap for Zhegrova. They need someone who can take on defenders one on one, especially on the right.
Zhegrova is not Inter material, and he is not a wing-back or AM anyways.
good for davide if he goes there. spalletti knows how to use him and inter have more capable midfielders than him
exactly, I couldn’t agree more. The sooner he goes away, the better, the only downside to it being that we won’t get as much as we would’ve hoped we would, but however much we get just send him away..
the sooner the better, need a spot for another midfielder. this guy has wasted both his time and the clubs time.
