Francesco Graziani has told Inter Milan to reinforce their squad in the January transfer window to bolster their Scudetto chances.
Speaking to La Domenica Sportiva via FCInter1908, Graziani offered his verdict on Inter’s performance at Genoa last night.
Lautaro Martinez and Yann Bisseck found the net in Sunday’s hard-earned 2-1 triumph at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri provided a perfect response to a gut-wrenching Champions League defeat to Liverpool.
Moreover, Cristian Chivu’s men will head into the Supercoppa Italiana as the new Serie A pacesetters.
Indeed, they’ve leapfrogged AC Milan and Napoli at the summit on the back of their third consecutive league win.
Though Inter controlled the tempo for most of the game, they lost their rhythm in the final half-hour.
As such, Graziani urged Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio to address Inter’s shortcomings during the winter transfer window.
Francesco Graziani Tells Inter Milan to Strengthen Their Squad in January

“Liverpool is a great team, and Inter rose to the occasion,” Graziani said.
Asked when the Nerazzurri become vulnerable, he replied: “When they think they’re stronger than everyone else and feel there’s no need to sacrifice themselves to chase the ball.
“In the first half against Genoa, they pressed incredibly, and Lautaro was pressing everyone.
“When Inter plays like that, they are the strongest team in the league.
“However, watch out for Napoli because when their injured players return, they will be a tough obstacle.
“Does Chivu help everyone improve? We’ll have to see over time; right now it’s a bit of a rollercoaster.”
Finally, he offered a piece of advice to Marotta and Ausilio ahead of the January transfer window.
“What I would suggest to two extraordinary managers like Marotta and Ausilio is to look at players like Conceicao or Politano; quick players who can beat their man.
“Think about them in January. It wouldn’t be wrong.
“There are moments when Inter plays with blinders on and always tries to break through in the same areas.
“Inter lack someone like Conceicao.”
yeah, top 8 in the CL. Being top 8 after 6 matches (I know the first four were easy, but at this point, all teams have had the same combination of tough matches and easy matches) is commendable, so you can’t simply ignore that.
But you also cant ignore the fact the the french only just made the 24 and end up winning it at the end.
He’s not wrong. But this player cannot be only a dribbler. He needs to be good in the defensive part of the game…sooooo….i dunno. Who could be that player at a decent price
No, we don’t buy such players, the likes of Henrique and Diouf are our priorities..
We’ve been saying we need a dribbler who can beat on 1 on 1 situation, but we are keep using wingbacks like Dimarco and Dumfries lel.
And the result of playing Dimarco and Dumfries: top of Serie A and still in the Top 8 in CL. Did you forget about that part?
Top 8 in the UCL? Lets see the situation after Arsenal and Dortmund.
