Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario has reportedly failed to convince Inter Milan owners Oaktree Capital Management.
According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, the Italian goalkeeper remains hellbent on returning to Serie A.
Guglielmo Vicario joined Tottenham in the summer of 2023.
Despite Inter’s interest, the 29-year-old swapped Empoli for North London, forcing the Nerazzurri to sign Yann Sommer.
However, the Swiss veteran will leave San Siro at the end of the season.
Inter Milan Chiefs Not Convinced by Guglielmo Vicario

Vicario looks destined to leave Spurs next summer.
Indeed, the Italian shot-stopper has fallen out of favor after a string of underwhelming performances.
Furthermore, he’s feeling homesick and would fancy a move to Inter, who are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper.
Yet, Vicario is already 29, which conflicts with Oaktree’s transfer policy.
Meanwhile, his recent showings have failed to inspire much confidence.
Therefore, the 20-time Serie A champions are exploring other options.
Freiburg star Noah Atubolu ranks highly on Inter’s shortlist, yet he is one of Europe’s most in-demand keepers.
Great news.
None of the goalkeepers who were mentioned as transfer rumor aren’t world class gk, not Vicario, Suzuki, Atubolu, Caprile, even our Martinez is more or less on their level. If we won’t go after world class gk as Diogo Costa, Maignan or Svilar, it would have been better to bring Stankovic back. If not for that injury last season, he would have already went to some mid-table club in Italy, our youth product, young, impressive statistics
i’ve saying this time to time that Stankovic is good and he can be a long term player for us and also an Inter player from start
Interesting.
Okay good start. The one thing I appreciate with the owner is they are done getting players past their prime. It may be tough at the start but a season or 2 later it will give us huge benefits just like how we did with Lautaro, Barella and Bastoni.
