Inter Milan will be active in the January transfer window, as Beppe Marotta aims to address the squad’s shortcomings.

According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, the San Siro giants have earmarked €25 million for reinforcements.

Denzel Dumfries has inflicted a major injury blow on the Nerazzurri.

Indeed, the Dutchman is at risk of missing around four months after undergoing ankle surgery earlier this week.

Therefore, the club must find a suitable replacement for their starting wingback.

Dumfries’ injury will force Inter to sign another reliable alternative on the right wing.

Several players have drawn Inter’s interest, including Marco Palestra and Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

However, the former commands a hefty €40 million price tag, making it nearly impossible for Inter to pursue his signature in January.

Norton-Cuffy is a more affordable option, even though Genoa would ideally keep hold of their star wingback.

Meanwhile, Hellas Verona’s Rafik Belghali has emerged as another exciting profile, with the Gialloblu valuing him at around €14 million.
