Hellas Verona star Rafik Belghali could reportedly join Inter Milan in January to replace the sidelined Denzel Dumfries.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 23-year-old has climbed to the top of Inter’s shortlist.
Rafik Belghali is making strides in Serie A.
Indeed, the versatile defender has gone from strength to strength since swapping KV Mechelen for Verona in the summer.
Belghali has collected 15 league appearances this season, netting two goals.
Therefore, he has become one of Verona’s most important first-team stars.
Inter Milan to Step Up Rafik Belghali Pursuit in January

Currently away on international duty with Algeria, Belghali could miss a large chunk of the January fixtures due to the Africa Cup of Nations.
However, his involvement in the most prestigious African tournament may not deter Inter from pursuing his signature this winter.
Unlike other Nerazzurri targets, Belghali could be available for as low as €12 million.
On the other hand, Atalanta loanee Marco Palestra commands a massive €45 million price tag.
Elsewhere, Genoa won’t sell Brooke Norton-Cuffy for less than €20 million.

We want Zanotti back, he’s already one of the best rb/wb outside of big five leagues.
i’ve been saying this so why sell him and be looking to pay more for another when he is our own home grown smh this team is a joke…we’re even looking for a long term goal keeper…we had the chance to get Di Gregorio and keep Stankovic as a backup wow! this isn’t too hard for us but we sold them both and brought in Martinez which we don’t even trust to be a first team player smh ♂️
