Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a January bid for out-of-favor Al-Hilal wingback Joao Cancelo.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are keen to bring the 31-year-old back to San Siro.
Joao Cancelo spent the 2017/18 season on loan in Lombardy, establishing himself as one of Europe’s best wingbacks.
However, Inter failed to secure his permanent transfer from Valencia as he joined Juventus the following summer.
Fast forward seven years, and Cancelo could return to his old stomping ground.
Inter Milan Plot January Move for Joao Cancelo

Cancelo has reportedly grown frustrated with his life in Riyadh and wants to return to Europe next month.
Furthermore, the Portuguese star is eager to regain competitive form ahead of next summer’s FIFA World Cup.
Meanwhile, Inter are in the market for a new right winger after losing Denzel Dumfries to a long-term injury.
Despite being 31, Cancelo would be a massive coup for the Nerazzurri.
Yet, there’s a catch.
Indeed, he earns around €15.5 million net per season, making it impossible for Inter to match his salary.
