Mike Maignan has entered the final six months of his contract at San Siro.

Milan have drawn up a contract proposal, which would increase Maignan’s annual salary to €5.5 million, including bonuses.

More importantly, it would tie the former Lens shot-stopper to the Rossoneri colors until 2029.

However, the player’s stance remains uncertain.

As such, Inter and Juventus are closely monitoring his situation, hoping to sign him on a free transfer in the summer.

Inter have identified Maignan as a potential replacement for the outgoing veteran, Yann Sommer.
