Inter Milan and Al-Hilal are reportedly set to open talks over a potential winter transfer involving veteran defender Francesco Acerbi.
According to Matteo Moretto via FCInter1908, the Saudi Pro League heavyweights are keen to sign the 37-year-old.
Joao Cancelo could reportedly swap Al-Hilal for Inter in the coming weeks.
Indeed, the clubs have already opened talks over the former Manchester City star’s return to San Siro.
However, Cancelo’s move to Serie A may not be the only deal on the table, with discussions also focusing on Acerbi’s exit.
Al-Hilal Set to Open Talks with Inter Milan for Francesco Acerbi

Francesco Acerbi has entered the final six months of his contract at San Siro.
Despite his age, the former Lazio center-back remains essential to Cristian Chivu’s tactical setup.
Therefore, it’s hard to imagine Inter sanctioning his departure in January.
Yet, Inter are also preparing for a major overhaul, with two more defenders set to leave the club at the end of the season.
As such, they could decide to accelerate the transition by allowing Acerbi to reunite with Simone Inzaghi in Riyadh.
