Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on Fiorentina stalwart Dodo after losing the race for Joao Cancelo.
According to Matteo Moretto via FCInter1908, the Brazilian has emerged as the club’s top target to replace Denzel Dumfries.
With the Dutchman set to stay on the sidelines until March, Cristian Chivu is desperate to reinforce the right wing.
Joao Cancelo would have been a major coup for the Nerazzurri.
However, the 31-year-old is on the verge of joining Barcelona after falling out of favor at Al-Hilal.

Barcelona and Cancelo have reportedly agreed on personal terms, with the Catalans set to pay a small portion of his salary.
Indeed, Los Blaugranas will cover just €4 million out of Cancelo’s €18 million annual salary.
Since Cancelo is no longer a viable target for Inter, the Italians have switched their attention toward Dodo.
Though the San Siro heavyweights have yet to open talks with Fiorentina, the Tuscan club is bracing up for January offers.

cancelo played only 2 matches in saudi league so far. there must be areason why he is left out. he certainly isn’t in form but everyone seems to belive that if he would join inter he would play like he did back in his best days. better continue to build up henrique

cancelo is worse than Henrique in defense and overpaid, has nothing to prove and fight for, he will not give 100%, he will be another primadonna, dodo is mediocre

Better play Henrique and wait for Dumfries’ return. Dodo is not Inter level.
