Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu is reportedly looking to make a double defensive change for tonight’s match against Parma.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, Yann Bisseck and Alessandro Bastoni could drop to the bench.

Santiago Castro denied the Nerazzurri a clean sheet in Sunday’s 3-1 home win over Bologna.

Despite faring reasonably well in that game, Yann Bisseck could make way for Francesco Acerbi’s return to the starting lineup tonight.

Indeed, the Italian veteran has returned to full fitness and could make his first Serie A start since the beginning of December.

In addition to Bisseck, Bastoni could also get some much-needed rest, having started every league match since late September.

Therefore, Chivu is ready to bench the 26-year-old star and use Carlos Augusto to fill the void.

Augusto has made four cameo appearances in the last five Serie A rounds, always replacing Federico Dimarco.

However, Chivu is looking to deploy him as a center-back this evening.
