After making contact with the player’s agent last month, Inter stepped up talks with Hajduk.
Furthermore, the clubs have agreed on a €5.5 million price tag.
Yet, Mlacic will not join the Nerazzurri immediately.
Instead, he will stay in Split until the end of the season to continue his development.
Despite his youth, Mlacic has already collected 14 league starts this season, establishing himself as Hajduk’s defensive cornerstone.
